She doesn't like to bother others, and prefers to do things herself, no matter how tiring, if she can do it without their help.
Gu Jingchen barged in unexpectedly. Not wanting to stay with him any longer, she used the excuse of "looking for a maid" to try and get him to leave on his own.
Gu Jingchen didn't leave. Instead, he moved closer to the bedside and stood there, looking at Su Ning with a cold gaze.
Under Gu Jingchen's gaze, Su Ning, lying under the covers, slowly clenched her fists, a smile playing on her lips.
"Mr. Gu, would you like me to get dressed?"
She asked in a disdainful tone, her eyes piercing Gu Jingchen with a coldness mixed with hatred.
Gu Jingchen remained expressionless. As he leaned down and his hand slowly descended, Su Ning's body stiffened even more than the last time he tried to hug her. Her face turned icy cold in that instant. "Gu Jingchen, get out!"
Don't let him touch her, and don't let him see her face clearly.
"Didn't you ask me to help you get dressed?"
Ignoring her anger, Gu Jingchen spoke softly. His hand landed on the blanket, and as he lifted it, Su Ning quickly grabbed his wrist.
"Gu Jingchen, what exactly do you want to do!" she asked sharply, her eyes reddening.
"Let me help you get dressed."
Gu Jingchen repeated, "No need!"
She forcefully pulled Gu Jingchen's hand away, her eyes turning red as she stared intently at him.
When a person is ruined, what they fear most is others seeing the parts of them that are ruined, especially since they once loved this person to the core, to the point of being willing to give up their life for him.
"The servants have all left."
Gu Jingchen refused to let go, and patiently explained, "I can help you."
"good!"
Hearing this word made Su Ning want to laugh. He knew perfectly well how obedient she was in front of him.
When he was pursuing her, he asked her to be his woman, and she did.
When I didn't want her anymore, I told her to get lost, and she did!
Now, he wants her to let go and help him get dressed! Okay, she'll do as he says.

Su Ning didn't have the strength to continue arguing with Gu Jingchen. She lay on the bed, staring wide-eyed at the ceiling.
