Madam Chu wasn't satisfied with her scolding. She wouldn't let it go until she had made Su Ning cry and agree. Given her personality, she wouldn't give up easily.
Even though she knew that Su Ning in front of her was Chu Feng's friend of many years, she couldn't care less and only cared about her own momentary pleasure.
However, Su Ning did not shed tears as she had expected. Instead, she glared at Madam Chu with a mocking expression.

Someone hit Su Ning, and Gu Jingchen was furious. He hit her hard, causing Madam Chu to crash backward into the table next to her. She felt as if her old back was broken from the pain.
"You dare hit me!"
Despite the pain, Madam Chu pointed at Gu Jingchen, who had suddenly appeared, and shouted.
She didn't know Gu Jingchen, nor did she know that this man was Su Ning's man.
"Ningning, are you alright?"
Gu Jingchen repeatedly asked about Su Ning's condition, and Su Ning shook her head, "I'm fine!"
If Gu Jingchen didn't show up, she planned to dump the dishes on the table back over there.
Madam Chu truly disgusted her, and disregarding Chu Feng's feelings, she fought back fiercely.
"Madam Chu."
Su Ning rolled her wheelchair forward to Madam Chu's side.
Madam Chu wanted to take action again, but with Gu Jingchen standing by, she only dared to put on a brave front verbally.
"You, Su Ning, dare to lay a hand on me? Chu Feng is here, he won't let you get away with this."
Over the years, Chu Feng has neglected so much business because of Su Ning, yet Su Ning actually had a man from who-knows-where attack him.
Su Ning did not answer her question, but instead introduced him to Madam Chu in a cold tone, "This is my husband."

Madam Chu did not know that the man in front of her was Gu Jingchen, but having spent so many years in the high society of the capital, she knew who Gu Jingchen was!
She had heard some of the details of Gu Jingchen and Su Ning's past, and like many others, she believed that Gu Jingchen would eventually dump Su Ning.
When Su Ning solemnly introduced Gu Jingchen as her husband, Madam Chu was taken aback.

Gu Jingchen didn't dump her!

The restaurant was surrounded by customers, and Su Ning spoke subtly, only Madam Chu could understand her.
Madam Chu's expression changed, she gritted her teeth, and said in a gloomy voice, "Mind your own business!"
Just as she finished speaking, Chu Feng returned. She saw Su Ning first, then Madam Chu and Gu Jingchen. "Mom, what are you doing here?"
She walked over with a puzzled look in her eyes. When Madam Chu saw Chu Feng arrive, her eyes reddened and tears fell.
"Chu Feng, you're finally back! Your mother was being bullied to death."
Su Ning remembered that Qiao Yimo was the best at acting out crying on cue, but she didn't expect Madam Chu to be such a good actress as well.
