She took the fruit knife from the kitchen downstairs.
She heard Xu Bai's footsteps coming upstairs before she fell asleep, knowing that he was asleep in his room.
Holding the fruit knife in her palm, she tiptoed upstairs, knocked on the door, and, hearing no response, quietly went in again. In the dimly lit room, she saw Xu Bai lying on the bed, covered by a blanket.

He was holding a home video camera in his hand. Jiang Yun looked at the fruit knife in her hand, then at the camera, and her body went limp. She sat on the bed, feeling completely powerless.
"Xu Bai, you're really something! You even dared to scheme against me!"
I thought Xu Bai was kind and filial, but it turns out he's just like Su Ning, always scheming against others.
Xu Bai looked at Jiang Yun without answering. Then came the sound of a door opening downstairs, followed by urgent calls and footsteps.
The door was quickly pushed open from the outside. Xu Sheng saw Xu Bai, who was unharmed, in the room, and her pale face softened a little. "Xiao Bai."
Xu Bai went over, handed the notebook in his hand to Xu Sheng, and went downstairs.
Xu Sheng turned her head to look at Xu Bai, glanced at Jiang Yun who had gotten up from the bed, and then her gaze fell on the bed next to her.
There was a fruit knife on the bed, and the quilt was stabbed in several places.

Jiang Yun's tears fell. She had only seen Xu Sheng today, since she went in.

"Brother Sheng, if I hadn't let Su Xincheng go back then, she would have been in prison long ago, wouldn't she?"
"Su Ning and Xu Bai won't have it so easy either!"
"You're doing so well!"
Xu Sheng gritted his teeth, looked down at Jiang Yun kneeling on the ground, and thought of how Jiang Yun had tried to drown Ning Ning on Xu Family Island. He also thought of the video in the camera in his hand. Xu Sheng wished he could grind Jiang Yun to dust.
"They're not like you, they wouldn't be so pitiful!"
Not one is complete!
One lacks a father's companionship and protection, the other lacks a mother's care.
All of this was caused by Jiang Yun's stubborn love.
