Mu Xiaocheng was focused on drawing when she heard Chi Yan's voice outside the door.
"Sister-in-law, are you inside?"
Then came a series of knocks on the door.
Mu Xiaocheng's thoughts were interrupted, and she frowned: "Is something the matter?"
Upon hearing her answer, Chi Yan didn't hesitate and readily opened the studio door.
He looked at her with a grin, leaning against the doorframe with a nonchalant expression.
"Sister-in-law, are you hungry? Would you like to go downstairs and get something to eat?"
"I'm not hungry, thank you."
Mu Xiaocheng continued creating and didn't want to pay him any attention.
Chi Yan coughed lightly and said, "Sister-in-law, I don't think it's good for you to lock yourself in your room like this."
Mu Xiaocheng looked at him with a gloomy expression: "Why?"
She didn't want to lock herself in her room, but she had no choice; she needed to paint and required a quiet, private environment.
"You are a patient now, so you need to go out and get some sunshine, play more, and make more new friends. This will help your condition."
The idea of a late banquet was just a lie; it was cloudy today, no sun.
When Mu Xiaocheng heard him say that, she suddenly recalled what Dr. Wen had told her.
"Go out more, see the colorful world outside, don't confine yourself to your own world. Perhaps, seeing other people's happiness will make you feel the same way, which will also help your condition."
Mu Xiaocheng put down the sketch in her hand, stood up, and stared at Chi Yan at the door.
So, where to go?
—
Yundu, the circular racing city.
Mu Xiaocheng looked at the huge traffic jam city in front of her and couldn't help but be a little surprised.
She has lived in Yundu for so many years and has never been to this racing city before.
She's good at eating, drinking, and playing mahjong, but traffic jams are something she's really not interested in.
So I've never been here.
I didn't expect this circular racing city to be so big.
Why did you bring me here?
Mu Xiaocheng stood by the car, looking at a group of young people who looked like troublemakers not far away.
Chi Yan chuckled lightly, one hand in his pocket, his inherent arrogance immediately apparent.
"Of course I brought you out to have fun."
Young Master Chi looked serious; he really didn't seem to be joking.
Mu Xiaocheng shook her head: "I can't race cars."
She's barely even daring to drive, moving as slowly as a tortoise. Ask her to race? Forget it, she still wants to live.
"I didn't ask you to drive it."
"I'll race against them in a bit, and you'll sit in the passenger seat so you can experience the thrill of high-speed driving."
"Such a stimulus can make even the worst mood feel much better."
Because of the pressure, it was crushed in that moment of excitement.
Mu Xiaocheng didn't believe it.
I wouldn't dare.
Forget it, she values her life.
Moreover, she gets carsick if the car is going fast and on these winding tracks.
"Well, I think I'll just stay here and watch you guys play."
She wrapped her thick coat tighter around herself. Not far away, the sound of racing car engines could be heard from time to time, along with the shouts and screams of many people.
Seeing that she refused, Chi Yan did not force her any further, and simply said, "Then you stay there and watch for a while, I'll go and have a couple of matches with them."
After saying that, Chi Yan took the car keys from the staff and walked in another direction.
Mu Xiaocheng blinked. Was Chi Yan a racing enthusiast? There was even his private race car here.
It's not surprising that a playboy like him owns a few racing cars.
Thinking of this, Mu Xiaocheng walked into the crowd.
