The next morning, when Mu Xiaocheng woke up, she felt like her whole body was falling apart.
It's incredibly uncomfortable.
The culprit was currently sitting sideways, one hand supporting his head, his deep, dark glasses staring at her with a smile.

Then, he practically spat out two words through gritted teeth.

She felt she was too naive. Ji Huaishen was good to her, but sometimes he wasn't.
Especially at night.
Seeing the little girl's gritted teeth, Ji Huaishen rubbed her head, lifted her off the bed, and hugged her, kissing her.
"I'll have someone bring you breakfast in a bit. If you're tired, you can take a nap."
After saying that, he got up and began to dress.
Mu Xiaocheng lay on the bed, intending to scold him, but after touching her empty stomach, she swallowed the words that were on the tip of her tongue.
She moved her lips slightly and asked obediently, "Will you come over after you finish your work?"
Ji Huaishen seemed quite pleased to hear her words. He smiled slightly, leaned down, and kissed her forehead.
"You can't bear to part with me?"
