There were four people sitting at a round table. Except for her, everyone was hiding themselves and had their own purposes. Their smiles might not reach their eyes, but fatigue was definitely hidden in their eyes.
The dinner was over and Jin Beisheng was sent away. The drunk Song Ming and Jiang Yiyu sat arm in arm on the stone platform beside the flower bed in front of the hotel, enjoying the cool breeze and chattering incoherently about something. After a few words, they would sigh and smile.
Song Shengsheng, wrapped in a coat, stood by and watched them, feeling helpless. However, he couldn't pull them away, and he couldn't persuade them to leave. He had no choice but to wait until they had said enough, and then find a way to send them home.
But as he was talking, Song Ming, after loosening his tie, pulled the sleeve of Jiang Yiyu's down jacket, covered his face with his hands, and burst into tears and snot. He raised his voice a little and told Jiang Yiyu how busy he was at work recently, how many people depended on him for their food, how he was on business trips every few days and could not be home all day, and that the cat at home only recognized the nanny and not him.
Finally, after two days of free time, Wang Jing and her family of relatives started arranging blind dates for him non-stop, and he couldn't avoid them...
Jiang Yiyu also kept sighing as he listened. Song Shengsheng felt that he had indeed drunk too much today. Jiang Yiyu not only allowed Song Ming to wipe his tears and snot with his clothes, but also patted Song Ming's shoulder. His tone was unusually gentle, and he kept telling him how difficult life was.
Finally, after much persuasion, the two began to cry and hug each other. They didn't know why, but they insisted on holding hands and facing the moon with the stone lantern in the flower bed behind them, becoming sworn brothers.
Song Shengsheng held back her laughter and recorded the whole process with her mobile phone. She also planned to wait until they woke up tomorrow and ask them if they could still remember which stone lantern in the flower bed was their eldest brother.
Because there was really no way to take them home together, Song Shengsheng had no choice but to book a suite in the hotel. She asked the hotel staff for help, and they helped her send the unconscious Song Ming and the masked Jiang Yiyu upstairs.
In order to make it easier to take care of the two drunks, she asked the staff to put them on the same bed.
All night long, one person vomited and another vomited. Song Shengsheng was tired of cleaning up, so he simply called room service. They sent two plastic bags and hung one on each of their ears.
Song Ming didn't know if it was because he didn't sleep well, but he was talking in his sleep and snoring in the middle of the night. Although Jiang Yiyu didn't wake up, Song Shengsheng could see that he was very annoyed.
The next morning, when the two woke up, they looked at each other. They were both scared when they saw each other. Song Ming even subconsciously swore loudly.
Jiang Yiyu frowned, untied the plastic bag hanging from his ear, and then carefully pinched his clothes with his fingers in disgust. He looked at them and cursed, "Fuck, Song Ming, are you disgusting? Did you vomit on me?"
Song Ming kicked him and said, "Get lost! Don't blame me for everything. I'm a germaphobe and I can handle alcohol well. I don't make a fuss or vomit when I'm drunk, unlike you."
"Don't spit it out, will you swallow it?"
"Jiang Yiyu, are you disgusting?"
…
Song Shengsheng, who was sitting on the sofa in the living room drinking coffee, heard the noise coming from the bedroom, so she quickly put down her coffee cup, stood up and walked over.
As soon as she opened the door, she saw that the two people who had been holding hands with each other and sworn brotherhood with the stone lantern in the flower bed last night, now disliked each other to the point of being on the verge of a fight.
Seeing her, Jiang Yiyu immediately subsided. In a tone that was aggrieved, clingy, and teasy, which Song Ming couldn't stand, he stretched out his hand to Song Shengsheng and said, "My dear, why am I lying with him? I'm so annoyed. My dear, don't you want me anymore? I don't want to be with him. Come and hug me! Please!"
Song Ming was about to vomit again. He looked at Jiang Yiyu with disgust, a look of both incomprehension and shock. Unable to bear it any longer, he kicked him hard, kicking the defenseless Jiang Yiyu off the bed. Then Jiang Yiyu could no longer pretend to be pitiful, so he grabbed the bed sheet, stood up, and started fighting with Song Ming.
Song Shengsheng stood at the door, shook his head, then silently left the room and considerately helped them close the door.
More than half an hour later, the door opened and Song Ming came out first. His hair was messy and his left shirt sleeve was ripped, revealing his shoulder. He pointed at Jiang Yiyu, who came out right behind him, and said to Song Shengsheng, "Song Shengsheng, could you please tie up your stray dog and stop letting it out to bite people?"
Jiang Yiyu pushed him from behind. Song Ming lost his balance and stumbled forward. He turned around and looked at Jiang Yiyu, whose hair was also messy and in a state of disarray. He shouted angrily, "Are you sick? Are you having rabies? Do you need to call 911?"
Jiang Yiyu refused to give in and pushed him again: "I pushed you and hit you, I am happy to do so, what do you care? My wife dotes on me and is on my side, what right do you have to control me!"
Seeing that they were about to fight again, Song Shengsheng cleared his throat, suppressed his laughter, and said calmly: "If you two have quarreled enough, come over and sit down. I'll show you something."
"What the hell? Can I not watch it with him?" Jiang Yiyu said unhappily. Song Ming glared at him: "You're talking as if no one would want to watch it with you. I think it's cheap!"
"You! Song Ming you!"
Song Shengsheng opened the video he had filmed last night and said, "Come together."
Song Ming took the lead and sat down on the single sofa closest to them. Jiang Yiyu rolled his eyes at him, sat next to Song Shengsheng, and watched Song Shengsheng press the play button.
