Song Shengsheng lifted the curtain a little and looked at Jiang Yiyu in the distance, wearing a long black down jacket, surrounded by a group of people and walking quickly towards the RV.
Xiao Chen stood up and opened the car door. Jiang Yiyu quickly stepped into the car. He handed his down jacket to Xiao Chen, then sat down next to Song Shengsheng and took a sip of her coffee. "You've been waiting for a long time. Are you hungry?"
Song Shengsheng shook his head.
Xiao Chen put his down jacket on the seat opposite, then got off the car very tactfully.
Song Shengsheng raised her hand and touched the fake wound on his nose: "It looks quite real."
Jiang Yiyu smiled and pointed to the makeup bag near the window: "Give that to me."
Song Shengsheng handed him the makeup bag. Jiang Yiyu took out a mirror and makeup remover towel from the bag and slowly wiped the makeup off her face: "Let's go out for a walk later!"
"Hmm? How are you going to turn?"
Jiang Yiyu glanced at her and said with a smile, "Disguise well and walk around."
Jiang Yiyu finished removing his makeup, washed his face in the RV, and simply applied some skincare products. He changed into his own clothes, put on the hood of his gray sweatshirt, and wrapped himself in his black down jacket. He said to Song Shengsheng, "Get out of the car and wait for me at the coffee shop. I'll be there soon."
"Are you really going out?"
"What's the big deal? I'm not a caged bird. I need to feel my freedom. Be obedient and wait for me."
"Okay." Song Shengsheng stood up, put on his coat, picked up his bag and prepared to get off the car.
"Hey, wait a moment."
Song Shengsheng looked at her arm being held by Jiang Yiyu: "What happened again?"
"Don't you want a hug?"
She smiled and looked up at him: "Didn't we agree that we can stop asking questions like this in the future?"
"That's right."
Jiang Yiyu raised one corner of his lips and smiled. He gently pulled Song Shengsheng into his arms, bent down, buried his face in her long hair scattered on her shoulders, and said in a muffled voice: "It's charging. The current power is 85%."
"You charge your battery pretty fast."
"Flash Charge."
Song Shengsheng smiled and patted his head: "Hurry up, Xiao Chen and the others are still waiting outside."
"Okay." Jiang Yiyu reluctantly let her go: "You go."
Song Shengsheng stood on tiptoe and pecked the corner of his lips lightly: "I'll wait for you."
After she finished speaking, she got out of the car and walked towards the coffee shop without waiting for Jiang Yiyu's reaction.
Jiang Yiyu stood in the car, watching her back gradually disappear from his sight, and felt inexplicably happy.
It was half past ten in the evening and the coffee shop had closed long ago. The fat orange cat in the shop was still lying in the place where it had been basking in the sun during the day, half-closed its eyes and looked at the pedestrians coming and going on the street outside the glass window with a pretentious look.
Song Shengsheng stood in front of the glass window, reached out and gently tapped the orange cat's forehead through the glass. The orange cat glanced at her with a look of disgust, then turned around and faced her with its butt as it did during the day, and impatiently swept the table with its long fluffy tail.
Song Shengsheng frowned and muttered softly, "What a bad personality."
Inadvertently, she noticed a shadow on the glass window. Turning around, she saw Jiang Yiyu, whose face was half covered by the wide hood of his coat, imitating her and bending over to look at the orange cat.
"You make no sound when you walk!" Song Shengsheng laughed.
Jiang Yiyu stood up straight, took out a warm baby from the pocket of his down jacket and stuffed it into her hand: "You are too focused. What's so good about a cat that doesn't want to talk to people?"
"Chubby is so cute."
"Put the heating pad in your other hand, and leave this hand free for me."
"oh."
Jiang Yiyu held her hand and put it in his pocket: "Let's go, is there anywhere you want to go?"
Song Shengsheng followed him all the way to the road: "This is my first time in South City, I'm not very familiar with it." She looked up at him again: "Is this really okay for you?"
Jiang Yiyu looked down at her and said, "It's okay. I'm just an ordinary person once I leave this neighborhood. If you're not hungry, let's walk along the road for a while."
"Okay, but what if we get caught on camera?"
Jiang Yiyu pulled Song Shengsheng into the shadows on the side of the street. He paused, took out a mask from his pocket and put it on Song Shengsheng, then pinched her nose carefully: "That's good. If you're photographed, your whole face won't be visible."
"But actually, people who know me can still tell it's me."
Jiang Yiyu tilted his head: "There are still more people who don't know you. Be good, I can protect you."
"good."
Song Shengsheng was led out of the street by Jiang Yiyu. The two walked on the sidewalk beside the road. Jiang Yiyu asked her to walk in the shade of the trees near the inner side of the road. She lowered her head and watched the street lights stretch Jiang Yiyu's shadow very long.
She raised her hand and gestured for a long time, then made a puppy gesture: "Jiang Yiyu, look down at your shadow."
"You're not that great, little dog."
"Then you make something awesome."
Jiang Yiyu thought for a moment, raised his hand, and covered the puppy shadow made by Song Shengsheng with the shadow of his palm: "Now the puppy has been caught."
"What are you doing?"
"It's like a net, leaving the puppy nowhere to escape."
Song Shengsheng laughed with him.
"Jiang Yiyu, should we get a puppy?"
"don't want."
"Why? I remember you used to like puppies."
"Not anymore. And if you get a dog, you'll have to devote your energy to taking care of it, and I'll be neglected."
"You compare yourself to a dog?"
"Whisper, your focus is as strange as always."
