Chapter 3 I Want to Marry You

"I've sent it to be washed. Someone will bring it back later. Don't worry. Now you just need to think about what you want to eat for breakfast." Jiang Yiyu handed her the phone: "Don't be polite, order whatever you want, brother will treat you."

Song Shengsheng approached cautiously, took his phone and looked at the takeaway page: "I don't know what I want to eat, why don't you help me choose, I'll eat whatever you eat."

Jiang Yiyu took the phone she returned and said, "You're still having trouble making a decision. Okay, I'll help you choose. Go wash up first."

"Oh, okay."

Song Shengsheng got out of bed, took his cell phone from the bedside table, and ran into the bathroom.

She stood in front of the sink and looked at her unread messages. From last night till now, Zhou Han and Su Bei had sent her more than a dozen WeChat messages, asking her if she had returned home safely.

Song Shengsheng hurriedly replied to the two of them to let them know that he was safe.

After replying, she took out a new set of disposable toothbrushes from the drawer of the sink. Looking at the toiletries and skin care products on the counter, she saw that they were all available. Just like her brother Song Ming said, Jiang Yiyu treated the hotel as his home.

When Jiang Yiyu was sixteen years old, his mother died of a serious illness. Before the seventh day had passed, his father married his mistress as his legal wife. After a big fight between the father and son, Jiang Yiyu moved out of the Jiang family. Since then, from the age of sixteen to now, at the age of twenty-eight, he has almost always lived in a hotel.

Song Ming had mentioned this to him before, since he had plenty of money, why not buy a house? Wouldn’t it be nice to have a home of his own?

Song Shengsheng remembers it clearly. At that time, Jiang Yiyu said, "I'm alone. Even if I buy a house, it doesn't count as a home. It doesn't matter whether I buy one or not."

Having known him for twelve years, Song Shengsheng had the impression that Jiang Yiyu's attitude towards life was indeed as he said: he didn't care about anything, was unrestrained and just enjoyed life.

I don’t know if after I marry him and he has a family, he will want to have a stable home.
