Halfway through the meal, the doorbell rang. Song Shengsheng and Jiang Yiyu looked at each other, quickly put down their chopsticks, and ran to the door.
"Who is it?" Jiang Yiyu asked.
"Su Bei."
"Why is she here so late?"
"I don't know." Song Shengsheng opened the door, and Su Bei burst into tears as soon as he saw her: "Shengsheng... I need comfort!"
"Come in first and we'll talk."
After Su Bei entered the room, she threw the bag in her hand on the ground, then took a few steps forward and hugged Song Shengsheng. Song Shengsheng lost her balance and almost fell backwards. She held the wall with one hand and patted Su Bei's back with the other: "What's wrong with you?"
"Zhou Han is a bastard! I want to break up with him! All men are pigs!"

Su Bei let go of Song Shengsheng and wiped away a tear. "Today is our sixth anniversary. I've been reminding him since last week to make time for today so we can celebrate together. But what happened? I booked the restaurant, prepared the surprise, even ordered the dishes. I sat in the restaurant waiting for him from 6pm to 8:30pm, and then he called to say he had to work overtime and couldn't come!"
Su Bei angrily took off her high heels and kicked them aside: "I was like a fool, sitting in that romantic restaurant by myself and finishing the meal for two."
"He probably had something urgent to do and couldn't leave. He didn't do it on purpose."
Su Bei looked at the men's sneakers next to the shoe cabinet and said, "Is your brother here too? When did he, such a flamboyant person, start wearing such simple yet fashionable sneakers?"
"It's not my brother, it's Jiang Yiyu's. He's back."
Su Bei looked up at Song Shengsheng, pouted again, and started crying: "It seems that I am redundant wherever I go today..." As she said that, she stumbled back to look for the shoes she kicked off: "It's not easy for Mr. Jiang to come back. I won't disturb you anymore. I'm leaving."
"Su Bei! I'm worried about you leaving like this. Wait a minute." Song Shengsheng turned and walked a few steps towards the living room. Jiang Yiyu, wrapped in a small blanket, nodded at her: "Let my mother-in-law come in."
When Su Bei heard Jiang Yiyu's voice, she wiped away another tear: "You are such nice people."
Song Shengsheng looked at her and smiled. Su Bei got herself a pair of slippers from the shoe cabinet. She picked up her bag and followed Song Shengsheng to the living room while crying. She sat on the single sofa diagonally opposite Jiang Yiyu. She looked at Jiang Yiyu, who was wrapped in a pink blanket, and said, "You're even more handsome in person than on TV, and you look less reliable."
Jiang Yiyu was stunned for a moment, then looked at Song Shengsheng who was bending over to pour water for Su Bei: "Are you praising me?"
Song Shengsheng winked at him, Jiang Yiyu shut up and silently wrapped himself tighter in his blanket.
Su Bei took the water cup handed to him by Song Shengsheng and took a sip: "You haven't finished your meal yet?"
"Well, do you want to eat some more?"
"good."
Su Bei stood up and sat on the carpet. Song Shengsheng walked over to her and sat down, handing her the unopened box of rice and a pair of disposable chopsticks. Su Bei whispered thank you, then started eating with tears in her eyes.
Jiang Yiyu was a little frightened by her excessive eating. After hesitating for a long time, he couldn't help but ask, "Mother-in-law, didn't you just say you had a meal for two before coming here? Is this... that you weren't full?"
Song Shengsheng turned around and patted his leg as a warning: "Why are you the only one who talks so much?"
When he asked this, Su Bei's tears, which had just stopped flowing, burst out again. She put down the lunch box in her hand and mumbled, "That restaurant... it's such a rip-off. Su Bei cried for a while: "I want to break up with him!"

"He feels guilty!" Su Bei took out his phone and opened his Moments. After scrolling through it twice, he handed the phone to Song Shengsheng. "He wasn't working overtime at all. He went out to have dinner with a female colleague! I want to break up with this scumbag!"
"Maybe... there is a reason... didn't you ask him?" Song Shengsheng frowned and returned the phone to Su Bei.
"I asked! He didn't answer the phone or reply to my messages! He must be guilty! This kind of person, he cheated on me and had to choose our sixth anniversary to do so. Shengsheng, Mr. Jiang, tell me, is he disgusting me?"
Song Shengsheng took a deep breath. Before she could say anything, she heard Jiang Yiyu excitedly say, "Mother-in-law, if you show any signs of being a man like this, you can't indulge him! There are so many men in this world, don't give in!"
Su Bei slammed the table again: "Actor Jiang! No wonder you're so popular! You're right! I'm going to call and break up with him right now! I can't keep him until the New Year!"
