Chapter 63 To Show That You Love Me More

Wang Jing said this and hit Song Ming again. Song Ming covered his shoulder and moved to the side: "Mom! If you want to criticize me, just criticize me, don't hit me!" He pointed at Jiang Yiyu who was whispering and laughing with Song Shengsheng: "Look at Jiang Yiyu, every time he sees you scolding me, he feels so happy!"

Jiang Yiyu looked up at him in confusion: "What?"

Song Qing poured himself a glass of wine and said, "Alright, stop arguing. The family is finally together, let's eat!"

Jiang Yiyu wanted to pour wine to toast Song Qing, but Song Shengsheng stopped him: "You are still taking medicine, you can't drink."

Song Ming looked at them and happily raised his glass to toast Song Qing: "Dad, this glass of wine is for you, the son who has no wife to look after him and doesn't need to take medicine!"

Song Qing smiled and took a sip from his wine glass. Wang Jing picked up a piece of braised pork for Song Ming and said, "Speaking of the henpecked husband, Mom actually remembered something to tell you."

"What?" Song Ming put the meat into his mouth and listened to Wang Jing continue: "Your father and I went to Jiangcheng a few days ago and met your father's friend, your Aunt Li from our neighbor Gu's family."

"Gu Yanzhou's mother?"

"Well, your aunt said that her cousin has a daughter who is about the same age as our daughter Shengsheng. She just returned from studying abroad this year. Not only is she beautiful, but she's also a pianist. She's planning to hold a concert in Beijing next month. You're not a child anymore. Look at your sister, she's married. And your childhood friends, except for those weirdos like Lin Huan and Li Xu, Gu Yanzhou is also married, and your best friend, Yi Yu, is also married..."

Song Ming sighed irritably. He raised his hand and rubbed his face: "Mom, can you please not talk about such unhappy things when we are so happy?"

"How can you not be happy? You may not feel the difference now, but in a few years, when you see your friends getting married and having children, and you're still alone, unable to even chat with them, then you'll understand what loneliness is."

Song Shengsheng and Jiang Yiyu tried to hold back their laughter and looked at each other. Jiang Yiyu moved the bowl of shrimps he had peeled in front of her and continued to watch the show with her in silence.

Song Ming looked at them for help, but unexpectedly Jiang Yiyu nodded and agreed with Wang Jing: "What Mom said is right."

Song Ming's eyes widened: "Jiang Yiyu, I'm really shocked by your flattery!" He looked at Song Qing again, and Song Qing said: "I also listen to your mother."

Song Ming put down his chopsticks, stood up angrily and said, "I can't stay in this house anymore. I'm leaving!"

Before he could even take a step forward, he heard Wang Jing say calmly, "Sit down and eat!"

Song Ming took a deep breath and reluctantly sat back in his chair. He picked up his chopsticks and continued to eat like a frost-bitten eggplant, while Wang Jing urged him to get married.

After finally finishing the meal, Song Ming put down his chopsticks and ran upstairs to hide in his room. Jiang Yiyu and Song Shengsheng watched TV with Song Qing and Wang Jing for a while, chatted for a while, and then went upstairs.

Jiang Yiyu had been to the Song family many times, but this was his first time entering Song Shengsheng's room. He sat down beside the bed and looked around the pink and tender room: "She is indeed a princess. Even her bedroom looks like a room in a fairy tale."

Song Shengsheng closed the curtains, walked over to him, picked up his denim jacket, and put it on the chair in front of the dressing table. "It's all my mother's preference. Sometimes I also think it's a little too pink. I have to stay overnight tonight. I'll ask my brother for a change of clothes for you later."

Jiang Yiyu waved his phone at her and said, "I'll go by myself. Song Ming is looking for me."

"What is he going to do now?"

"Ask me for a cigarette."

Song Shengsheng felt around in his coat pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes, then an unopened box of relationship-enhancing supplies. She looked at the two boxes in her hands and slowly frowned, "I see you haven't quit smoking yet, and you still carry this stuff with you. Jiang Yiyu, you really won't listen to any advice!"

Jiang Yiyu leaned back on the bed with his arms bent, supporting himself and smiling lazily, "They're all new. I bought them at a convenience store when I passed by here. I thought they'd be useful."

Song Shengsheng threw the box in her hand to him. He smiled, raised his head, closed his eyes, and dodged backwards: "What, you don't need it?"

"Do you have the guts to do that? You're flirting here every day. I'm confiscating this pack of cigarettes. You and my brother won't be able to smoke them."

Jiang Yiyu lowered his arms, facing the ceiling, and lay down on the bed. He picked up the small box and looked at it carefully: "How do you use this thing? Darling, do you know?"

"I don't know! Play by yourself."

"How can I play a game for two people by myself?"

"Then take your cigarette and go study with my brother and you two."

Jiang Yiyu chuckled lazily twice: "That's another story."

Song Shengsheng thought about the awkward scene of Jiang Yiyu and Song Ming together, and couldn't help laughing out loud.

"My dear, what are you thinking about? You're almost smiling like a flower."

She pulled out a chair and sat down, clearing her throat. "I was wondering, how do you and my brother compare?"

"What do you think?"

“I don’t think I can tell the difference.”

Jiang Yiyu sat up and looked at her helplessly: "Xiaoshengsheng, don't you think our conversation is ridiculous?"

"It's okay." Song Shengsheng blinked: "Do you want to go find him now?"

"No."

"Aren't you afraid that he'll come looking for you?"

"He's not that ridiculous."

As soon as he finished speaking, there was a knock on the door: "Jiang Yiyu, Song Shengsheng, what are you two doing? Why aren't you reading the message I sent?"
