Chapter 64 She Really Likes You

"They're all excuses. You're always right. I can't argue with you." Jiang Yiyu held her hand and kissed it on his lips: "What are your plans for tomorrow?"

"I was planning to take my brother out shopping, but now that you're back, I won't go."

"Whatever you want, I'll buy it for you."

"I don't really want anything. I'm just buying a few summer clothes and picking up two bags I ordered six months ago. Then, this afternoon, I'll go to a date with a designer friend and buy some jewelry. Tonight, I'll go to a dinner party with my brother and then go home after it's over."

"Your day is so packed that you don't even have time to think about me."

"I miss you but you can't come back, so why should I waste my time? If you're free tomorrow afternoon, come with me to meet my friends. I can pick out some jewelry for you and you can even help me pay for it."

"What about tonight? Are you still going to accompany Song Ming to the dinner?"

"No, let's go eat hot pot tonight."

"He still has a conscience."

The two of them lay together for a while, and Song Ming knocked on the door and brought clothes: "Give it to him, you don't have to give it back to me."

Jiang Yiyu walked to the door with the help of a cane, took the clothes from Song Shengsheng, looked at them, and asked Song Ming: "Let's go for a walk, do you want to go?"

Song Ming waved his hand impatiently: "There are so many street lights outside, I don't need a light bulb." He glanced at Song Shengsheng with some disdain: "Put on the mosquito repellent bracelet I bought you last time, even if it doesn't work. Don't go out for a walk and get bitten all over."

"What about mine?" Jiang Yiyu stretched out his hand to Song Ming: "I'm also afraid of being bitten by mosquitoes."

Song Ming took a few steps back as if he had seen something dirty. "You're just a wild dog, with thick skin and flesh, why are you afraid of mosquitoes? Get out of here as soon as possible. I'm leaving and won't be a bother to you two anymore."

After Song Ming left, Song Shengsheng changed her clothes, then slowly went downstairs with Jiang Yiyu, said hello to the nanny, and left the house.

She walked beside Jiang Yiyu and reached out to pull the drawstring on his hoodie: "There's almost no one here, no need to wear a hat to cover your face."

"I'm used to it. Please help me take it off." He bent down, and Song Shengsheng stood on tiptoe and took off his hat. "It's so hot, you're wearing so many clothes, aren't you hot?"

"good."

"oh."

The two walked forward along the shade of the trees. Song Shengsheng grabbed the corner of his clothes and asked quietly for a while, "Are you tired? Do you want to rest for a while?"

"That's fine. Let's walk to the lake ahead and rest."

"Okay, Jiang Yiyu."

"What's wrong?"

"Why do you talk less when you go out?"

Jiang Yiyu looked down at their elongated shadows on the ground, and leaned towards her, causing their shadows to overlap.

He smiled and whispered, "I suddenly remembered something from a long time ago. We used to go out for walks together at night like this. Back then, you walked in front, and Song Ming and I followed behind. I talked to him about basketball and games, and you listened quietly without interrupting. But every time I looked at you, you had a smile on your face."

"So you looked at me then?"

"Well, I was peeking and wondering how there could be such a good-tempered little girl."

"I have a bad temper." Song Shengsheng kicked away the stone under his feet: "My brother and I often quarrel. You have seen it before."

"That's what Song Ming deserves."

Song Shengsheng smiled and looked up at him: "You should be glad that my brother is not here, otherwise he would have broken up with you." She sighed, opened her arms and stretched: "Actually, living here is pretty good. There are fewer people, good security, and good greenery. I don't have to hide when I go out with you."

"Being with me must be tiring... I see other people posting official announcements on their social media feeds, along with photos, when they're dating or getting married, but because of me, you don't even dare to post."

Song Shengsheng nudged his shoulder with her head. "Don't flatter yourself. I don't post because I don't like posting updates and I don't like others prying into my life."

"Don't you have the desire to share?"

Song Shengsheng thought for a moment and said, "Yes, I will share the things or events I want to share directly with the people I want to share them with. This way, I can get more direct feedback. For example, my brother knows that you and I are together, my parents know, and my close friends and relatives know too. That's enough."

"Don't want to tell more people about our relationship?"

Song Shengsheng paused, she turned around and looked at Jiang Yiyu with a frown: "Didn't you say that you didn't want my identity to be exposed? If I post you on WeChat Moments, wouldn't that be equivalent to exposing myself?"

"That's right." Jiang Yiyu lowered his head in disappointment. Song Shengsheng stared at him for a moment in confusion. She reached out and tugged at the drawstring of his sweatshirt: "Maybe I have another way to take an official photo."

"What method?"

Song Shengsheng took out her phone from her pocket, turned on the camera and pointed it at their shadows on the ground. She pulled the drawstring hard: "Lower yourself and kiss me."

Jiang Yiyu raised his eyebrows slightly, and smiled: "Is this the solution you came up with?"

"Yeah, even if I don't show my face, I can still tell others that I have a boyfriend. How great!" She tugged at the drawstring of his hat again: "Lower it a little faster."

Jiang Yiyu obediently bent down and kissed her on the lips. Song Shengsheng smiled and pressed the shutter. She bit him lightly, took a half step back, opened the album and looked at the photos she had just taken: "It's perfect." She raised her phone and pointed the screen towards Jiang Yiyu: "Don't you think it's good?"

Jiang Yiyu pursed his lips and hummed, "Very good."

"I think so too." She lowered her head and edited her Moments while continuing to follow him. Jiang Yiyu lowered his eyes and glanced at her phone screen: "You blocked so many people in just one Moments?"
