Chapter 69 Can’t you just give way to me?

"Brother Yi Yu, how about you go out and wait for me? I promise to make your wish come true today!" She blinked, raised her hand to her ear sincerely, and made a three sign: "I swear, I won't lie to you."

"I don't believe it." Jiang Yiyu looked down at her with interest, his gaze finally resting on her ups and downs. "The meat is right at your fingertips, why are you still waiting? It's not easy to muster up the courage. I want to take a step forward with you."

"Calm down and listen to me. It's about your injury. It took two months to heal. If you fall again, won't those two months of suffering be wasted? This is called losing more than gaining. We should look at the problem from a developmental perspective. We can't delay long-term happiness in the future for the sake of temporary comfort, right?"

Jiang Yiyu didn't say anything, nor did he let her go. It was obvious that he didn't accept her explanation.

He refused to let go, and Song Shengsheng wouldn't let him go any further, so the two of them were in a stalemate for a moment.

After a moment of silence, Song Shengsheng shuddered. Jiang Yiyu reached out and gently wiped away the water droplets that had dripped onto her eyelashes from her hair. "I have an idea. Let's both take a step back."

"you say."

"You hug me, I hug you, and we go out together."

Song Shengsheng frowned. "No, you can't even walk properly by yourself. If you bring me along, wouldn't that mean you're just trying to fall and break your legs together? I don't want that."

"Then let's stay here together. I don't mind anyway."

"You...can't you just let me go?"

"No, I can't convince you, and I'm afraid you'll run away, so I can only guard you."

"I'm not lying to you."

"Then let's do as I say and go out together." Jiang Yiyu said firmly.

Song Shengsheng bit her lip. She watched the mist on the glass wall behind Jiang Yiyu gradually fade away. The water droplets on the ends of her hair slid down her back, which was indeed a bit cold. If the stalemate continued like this, no one would benefit. After hesitating for a long time, she nodded reluctantly: "Be careful!"

Jiang Yiyu smiled triumphantly. He pulled Song Shengsheng's arm and asked her to put it around his neck. Then he bent down and picked her up like a child, patting her back gently: "If you don't want to fall, hold her tighter."

There was no need for him to remind her of this. The moment her feet left the ground, Song Shengsheng had already tightened her arms and legs. She hugged Jiang Yiyu tightly like a koala: "Walk slower, don't fall!"

"I know." Jiang Yiyu reached out from the door handle of the shower room, took off the white bathrobe that Song Shengsheng had put on it, casually draped it over her shoulders, and slowly walked towards the door. Before leaving, he deliberately made a fake move of staggering forward, which scared Song Shengsheng so much that she tightened her arms again.

"Jiang Yiyu! Put me down!"

He smiled dotingly: "You're kidding, I walk very steadily, I won't fall you."

As he passed the cloakroom, he glanced sideways and slowed down his pace: "Hey, dear, do you want to turn off the light or on?"

"Turn off the lights."

"But I want to turn on the light."

"Do we have to discuss this kind of thing in advance? Jiang Yiyu, you really don't feel embarrassed!"

"What's so embarrassing about this?" He turned and walked into the cloakroom. Song Shengsheng looked up at him and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"Find a way to turn off the lights while turning them on at the same time." He walked to the wardrobe near the door, released the hand that was around Song Shengsheng's waist, and opened the drawer.

Song Shengsheng watched his fingers run across a row of neatly arranged ties and asked, "Which one do you like?"

"What are you doing with your tie?"

"Blindfold your eyes so you can't see, even if the lights are off." He smiled at the obviously flustered Song Shengsheng, lowered his voice, and said frivolously: "Or have you changed your mind and want to keep the lights on and look at me?"

"You...you..." Song Shengsheng kept saying "you" for a long time, and finally, with a red face, he sullenly said, "Whatever."

"Oh." Jiang Yiyu raised his eyebrows and paused his fingertips on a wine-red tie: "How about this color? I think it suits you very well."

"casual."

"That's it."

Jiang Yiyu took out his tie and closed the drawer. He lifted Song Shengsheng up and turned to leave the cloakroom.

As Song Shengsheng walked from the cloakroom to the bed, the closer she got, the faster her heart beat. She kept telling herself that it was no big deal and it would happen sooner or later, but her pounding heart still revealed her nervousness.

Of course, Jiang Yiyu was not much better, but he was still more composed than Song Shengsheng. After all, he had revealed his various vulnerabilities in front of her more than once before.

He walked to the bedside, bent down to put her down, and fell down as well. He kissed her forehead as calmly and gently as possible: "Don't be afraid, it's no big deal, we will be happy together."

He stood up slightly and unfolded his tie: "Be good and close your eyes." He covered Song Shengsheng's eyes with the tie, supported the back of her head with his palm, and gently tied a loose knot.

"Have you forgotten that there is an eye mask at home?" Song Shengsheng couldn't help but remind him.

Jiang Yiyu smiled and said, "I forgot." His kiss followed the bridge of her nose and extended all the way to her lips...

Song Shengsheng was completely trapped between the bed and his arms. For a moment, she had an illusion that she was on the vast ocean, and Jiang Yiyu was her only driftwood.

The waves on the sea were sometimes fast and sometimes slow. In order to avoid being swept away by the waves, she could only hold on to the only driftwood in front of her.

But the waves were disobedient, and the driftwood was sometimes close, sometimes far away. She desperately wanted to grab it, but was overturned by the waves again and again. She faced the sea, and the suffocating feeling of drowning surged over her...
