Chapter 76: No Regrets

"Tell me, what kind of punishment do you want? Let's be clear, it shouldn't be insulting, but it shouldn't be too harsh. I don't mind, I'm a tough guy, but I'm worried you won't be able to handle it. If you cry, my heart will break."

"It's still unclear who will be crying." Song Shengsheng spread out her hands to him: "Give me your hand."

Jiang Yiyu chuckled and placed his hand on her palm: "What do you want?"

Song Shengsheng grabbed his wrist and turned his arm over. She stretched out two fingers, blew on them near her mouth, and then hit his forearm hard.

Jiang Yiyu hissed and frowned: "You really hit me!"

"Let's play for real. Who wants to play games with you?" She loosened her grip and pushed the chess box towards him. "This time, you make the first move."

Jiang Yiyu covered his arm and rubbed it. He looked at the two red marks on his arm and said, "My dear, you were the first to do it. I won't let you this time."

"Why are you talking so much nonsense? Get off quickly."

In the second round, as expected, Jiang Yiyu lost again... but he was proud that he had persisted a few more steps than in the first round.

After five, six, seven or eight games, his arms were numb from being beaten by Song Shengsheng, and his fighting spirit was completely aroused. However, Song Shengsheng felt that it was really boring to keep winning. After collecting the chess pieces, he said he would not play with him no matter what.

Jiang Yiyu begged for a long time, and she reluctantly played another game with him, even intentionally letting him make a few moves, but this man's chess skills were really average, and he lost again.

She supported her face with one hand and waved at him with the other: "Stretch out your arms."

Jiang Yiyu sighed, and reluctantly handed over his red arm: "Be gentle, this is meat."

Song Shengsheng nodded and symbolically tapped his arm with her finger.

Jiang Yiyu covered his arm and rubbed it: "I can't tell that you are so strong normally."

Song Shengsheng folded up the chessboard and put it back into the box. "I've practiced Taekwondo and chopped wood and bricks. I even took Sanda as an elective in college physical education. It's not just some fancy moves. So, Jiang Yiyu, if you have nothing to do, don't mess with me."

Jiang Yiyu laughed awkwardly twice: "I'm scared, scared."

He put down his arms, leaned his head sideways on the table, was quiet for a while, looked up at Song Shengsheng and blinked: "My dear, do you have any shortcomings?"

"Does a bad temper count?"

"Are you still in a bad mood?"

"That's because you haven't made me angry yet. If I really get angry, I'll just throw you over my shoulder and punch you twice."

"Then how do you get angry?"

"Hmm..." Song Shengsheng thought for a moment, "I'm very tolerant of things and people in general. As long as you don't cross my bottom line, you can do whatever you want in front of me."

"Bottom line?"

"I told you, don't leave me without a word and lose you, don't betray me, and don't hurt me and yourself in the name of love. This is the bottom line I set for you. It's quite broad, isn't it?"

"Not bad." Jiang Yiyu tilted his head and lay down again. He used two fingers to make a little man, and walked slowly to Song Shengsheng's hand, picked up the candy wrapper that she had thrown aside just now, and slowly retreated.

He rested his chin on the table and carefully folded the square candy wrapper. Song Shengsheng glanced at him, opened the drawer and took out the tablet: "I'll continue reading the literature."

Jiang Yiyu hummed listlessly.

After a while, he curled the corners of his lips, gently pushed the candy wrapper folded into a heart shape in his hand towards Song Shengsheng, and then stretched out a finger and poked her arm lightly.

"Hmm?" Song Shengsheng finished reading the last line and turned to look at her hand. She picked up the heart and smiled, "It's folded very well."

“How long will it take to finish watching it?”

"Almost there, two more pages."

"Two pages, and more than half an hour." He sighed softly, retracted his hand, propped up his chin with his arm, stared at Song Shengsheng eagerly, and blinked: "I'll be quiet and obedient now. Can you give me a reward when you finish reading?"

"Yeah." Song Shengsheng turned the page without raising his head.

"You don't even ask me what I want?"

"It's up to you."

"real?"

"Um."

Jiang Yiyu smiled foolishly and buried his face in his arms.

Song Shengsheng raised her eyes and glanced at him secretly, and also raised the corners of her lips.

About half an hour later, Song Shengsheng finished making the final excerpt in her notebook. She closed the pen cap, turned off the tablet, and put it in the drawer along with the notebook.

Jiang Yiyu raised his head, sat up straight, and rubbed his forehead: "Have you finished reading it?"

"Well, there's one more. I'll read it tonight."

"Anything else?"

"Yes, liberal arts majors require more reading and observation."

Jiang Yiyu clicked his tongue and shook his head: "The world of academic masters is too hard to understand. Just looking at it makes me tired."

Song Shengsheng kicked his toes: "Stop sighing, tell me, what do you want?"

He chuckled and stepped back with the chair. He spread his arms and waved to Song Shengsheng: "Come here, give me a hug first."

Song Shengsheng stood up, walked around the table to him, held his shoulders, and sat on his legs. Jiang Yiyu held her waist, leaned in and kissed the corner of her lips: "Kiss me."

Song Shengsheng raised her eyebrows and smiled, then put her arms around his neck and kissed him.

Jiang Yiyu looked at her drooping eyelashes, moved his palm up to hold the back of her head, and leaned her against the back of the chair.

After a while, Song Shengsheng gently nuzzled his nose: "That's it?"

"What do you think?"

He held her up, took a step forward, and placed her on the table. Then he leaned forward, holding the back of her head, and fell onto the table together...
