Chapter 60 Be good and say you love me seriously

Song Shengsheng followed him through the front hall and slowly walked around the garden.

When she turned to the abandoned glass greenhouse on the east side of the garden, she heard the cry of a kitten in the pile of junk. She stopped, made a gesture to Jiang Yiyu, who was still recalling the previous layout of this place with her, to keep quiet, and then tiptoed towards the pile of junk.

After pulling away the branches and worn transparent plastic sheets piled on the surface, Song Shengsheng saw two little pear-shaped cats in the corner of the scattered flower pots.

The kitten bared its teeth at her in a ferocious warning.

Song Shengsheng was indeed very brave. She reached out and quickly grabbed the back of the neck of a kitten. When another kitten turned around and tried to escape, she grabbed its tail and lifted it upside down.

Jiang Yiyu was stunned. He looked at the two kittens waving their paws, trying to escape, and Song Shengsheng, whose face was filled with surprise and joy. He asked hesitantly, "Guai, you don't want to take them home, do you?"

"Yes! Meeting is fate. Besides, they are so small. I don't know where their mother has gone. If we don't take them away, they might starve to death here."

"This...where are we going to keep this if we take it away?"

"Take off your coat."

"ah?"

"They are very uneasy now. Perhaps being wrapped in a coat will help them."

Jiang Yiyu took off his coat, and Song Shengsheng placed the two kittens in his hands on his spread-out coat. Jiang Yiyu quickly folded up his coat and wrapped the kittens up: "We definitely can't keep them at home."

"I know." Song Shengsheng patted the dust off his hands and frowned at the wound on his hand caused by the kitten's scratch: "Give it to my brother. He told me before that he wanted to have a cat."

"Song Ming wants to keep a cat?"

"Well, he's always loved these little animals. Have you forgotten? During your sophomore year of high school, the school organized a spring outing. He bought a lamb from a farmer and named it Fuguier. He took you all the way back in a bus to bring the lamb home. After we got back, he insisted on raising it in my mom's garden. As a result, Fuguier ate all the flowers my mom had planted, and Comrade Song Ming was also punished by his parents for not taking good care of the lamb."

"Now that you mention it, I remember now. Where was the sheep?"

Song Shengsheng pushed Jiang Yiyu's wheelchair out of the greenhouse. "Originally, my father wanted to turn the sheep into mutton kebabs, but seeing my brother crying so pitifully while holding the sheep, he couldn't bear it. Coincidentally, my grandfather had a farm outside Beijing at the time, so the sheep was taken in as a natural choice."

"Song Ming is also a talent."

"You're still talking about him. Have you forgotten what my mother said when you two brought the sheep back together? She said you two were like Crouching Dragon and Phoenix Chick. Who in their right mind would bring back a sheep as a pet on a spring outing? Tell me, what were you two thinking back then?"

Jiang Yiyu laughed and said, "Song Ming made a big promise to me at that time. He said that when the sheep grew up, he would give me half."

"So he was planning to eat it from the beginning?"

"Maybe he just wanted to trick me into helping him. Fortunately, he didn't use his evil intentions in any crooked way, otherwise he would be a pure cancer on society."

Near dusk, the two left Mingyuan. As soon as they returned to the city, Song Shengsheng called Song Ming and then went straight to his house.

As soon as the two got out of the car, before they even entered the door, they saw Song Ming wearing a T-shirt and shorts, wearing slippers, holding a cell phone, with disheveled hair and yawning, opening the door and coming out.

When he saw Jiang Yiyu, Song Ming tutted in disdain: "What's going on? Are you going to rely on a wheelchair for transportation from now on?"

Jiang Yiyu smiled and said, "That's fine. I have a wife to push me, so it's different from some people."

"Jiang Yiyu, you're so infuriating! You can't even spit out a single tooth from your dog's mouth." Song Ming crossed his arms and rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Song Shengsheng, what was the surprise you said you were going to give me? It wasn't going to be this dog in the wheelchair, was it?"

"Who are you calling a dog?" Jiang Yiyu raised his leg to kick him, but Song Ming dodged nimbly. He laughed and said, "Whoever gets stressed is a dog."

Song Shengsheng held Jiang Yiyu's wheelchair, watching their childish bickering, and sighed helplessly: "Enough!"

The two of them were still arguing with each other, and no one left her side. Song Shengsheng had no choice but to raise her voice a bit: "I say! That's enough! Stop arguing!"

Song Ming kicked Jiang Yiyu, and Jiang Yiyu tried to kick him back but failed. He pointed at Song Ming angrily and complained to Song Shengsheng: "My dear, your brother bullied me, do you care?"

Song Ming shrugged his shoulders somewhat frivolously: "Before she was your wife, she was my sister. Who do you think she supports?"

Song Shengsheng was indeed a little annoyed. She walked around the wheelchair a few steps forward, bent down, and carefully picked up the two kittens that were completely wrapped in Jiang Yiyu's coat from his arms. Then she walked towards Song Ming, pulled his arms away, and stuffed the kittens into his arms: "Hold them tight, don't let them fall."

"What's this? Why is it moving?" Song Ming was startled. "A cat? Where did you pick it up? The packaging is so simple, and you're covering it so tightly. Aren't you afraid that the cat will be suffocated to death?"

Song Ming pulled back his coat, revealing two little kittens with their mouths wide open and meowing. "They're so tiny, which cat bed did you take them out of? Did you ask the mother? Other people would be so heartbroken when they got home and found their babies were gone!"

"There are only two of them in the nest. I don't see any big cats. Didn't you tell me before that you wanted to have a cat? So I sent one to you. Kidnapping it instead of buying it is also good." Song Shengsheng reached out and nodded at the kitten's head: "Brother, look how cute it is!"

Song Ming stretched out his tone with some embarrassment and hummed, "They are cute, but do they have fleas? You didn't take them to the veterinary hospital for a checkup first. If they have any diseases, wouldn't it be a big deal?"
