Jiang Yiyu glanced at her and whispered, "My dear, I seem to have a fever again."
Song Shengsheng opened her eyes and raised her hand to signal him to come closer. Jiang Yiyu bent down and placed his forehead on the back of her hand. Song Shengsheng touched it, then touched her own forehead and made a comparison: "I feel that your temperature is quite normal. If you are really worried, just use a thermometer to measure it again."
"Good boy..."
"What? Are you so weak that you can't even hold the thermometer yourself?"
"no."
"What is that?"
"That's right...that's right..." Jiang Yiyu lay down and leaned towards her. He rubbed Song Shengsheng's cheek with his fluffy hair: "I want to be close to you."
Song Shengsheng couldn't help but curl the corners of her lips. She cleared her throat and reached out to push Jiang Yiyu's head away: "Don't lean on me, I'm afraid of scaring you."
"Good boy, good boy, Shengsheng, little Shengsheng, don't be like this!" Jiang Yiyu stretched out his tone, obviously acting like a spoiled child. He held Song Shengsheng's hand and covered it on his chest: "Good boy, don't be so mean to me, I'm scared."
"Are you scared again? Jiang Yiyu, is there anything you're not afraid of?"
"I'm afraid of losing everything related to you. Does this count?" He turned his head to look at Song Shengsheng, blinking a little aggrievedly: "My dear, I'm not afraid of getting close to you. I just cherish you too much, so I need more time to prepare."
"What are you preparing for?"
"How to love you better."
"Oh, how's the progress so far?"
Jiang Yiyu put her hand to his lips and kissed it: "Kiss me, and I'll tell you."
"Taking another cold shower late at night is not a good idea, is it?"
Jiang Yiyu pulled her towards him and said, "I won't do that this time."
"You're quite confident!" Song Shengsheng stood up and moved closer, pecked him lightly on the corner of his lips: "That's it, it's too late now, it's time to go to bed."
"That's it?"
"Yes, that's enough. People need to be content to be happy. Go to sleep." Song Shengsheng touched his head and kissed his forehead: "Good night, Jiang Yiyu."
"So perfunctory."
"I gave you a chance, but you didn't cherish it. Go to sleep!" Song Shengsheng lay back in her seat and squeezed the hand he was holding: "Turn off the lamp on your side."
Jiang Yiyu resigned himself to his fate and turned off the desk lamp. In the darkness, he stared at the ceiling with his eyes open for a long moment before tentatively saying, "My dear, I'm so tired lying down."
"There's nothing we can do about it. It's your fault that your leg is broken."
"Be good."
"What's wrong?"
"I need to go to the bathroom."
"Then go ahead."
"I'm afraid of the dark."
"If you're afraid of the dark, turn on the light."
"I can't reach it."
Song Shengsheng sighed softly and turned on the desk lamp: "You can go now."
Jiang Yiyu didn't move. Song Shengsheng pushed him and said, "Brother Yiyu, I can't go to the toilet for you."
"I don't want to go again."
"Then go back to sleep." Song Shengsheng didn't turn off the lights, and she closed her eyes again.
After a while, Jiang Yiyu called her again: "Be good."
"What happened again?"
"Did you say Song Ming is back?"
"He can't go to the bathroom for you."
"No, I just want to know if he's back. Do you think we should give him a call?"
Song Shengsheng opened her eyes and turned to look at him: "Have you forgotten that more than two hours ago, you told me not to get involved in the affairs of my brother and Sister Wen Jing?"
"Oh, I forgot."
Jiang Yiyu felt a little guilty and turned away from her gaze. He looked up at the ceiling again and stared at it quietly for a while. He stole a glance at Song Shengsheng from the corner of his eye and saw that she was still looking at him with a smile. He quickly withdrew his gaze, cleared his throat, and explained with forced calmness: "I just suddenly thought of Song Ming and was a little worried about him."
"I didn't realize you were so worried about my brother. If he knew, he would be so moved that he would shed a few tears."
"Don't let him know that I'm being so hypocritical. I also want to save face, except for you."
Song Shengsheng supported herself with her arms and leaned closer, blocking Jiang Yiyu's view of the ceiling. "Do you want a kiss?"
Jiang Yiyu pursed his lips subconsciously. As Song Shengsheng got closer and closer, his heartbeat became faster and faster.
When their noses touched, Song Shengsheng paused and asked with a smile, "Did you really kiss?"
Jiang Yiyu raised his chin, gently rubbed her nose, swallowed nervously, nodded, and then kissed her.
But in just a moment, he retreated back to the distance where his nose touched hers. He put one arm around Song Shengsheng's waist and the other hand gently clasped her neck, stroking her soft long hair.
Song Shengsheng leaned on his chest, smiled gently and kissed him back...
She teased Jiang Yiyu with great interest, tempting him to ask for more friendship from her, but every time he was about to succeed, she backed off, leaving his enthusiasm in vain.
In the end, he was so angry that he held her tightly in his arms.
The breathing and heartbeats of the two people were infinitely amplified in the quiet bedroom...
For a long time, Jiang Yiyu buried his face in her shoulder, his hands clutching the corner of her clothes. Song Shengsheng felt his change, but she said nothing, just touched his head.
After a while, Jiang Yiyu raised his moist and red eyes and looked at her. Song Shengsheng frowned: "Help you?"
"Um……"
"It's rare that you don't want to run away, Brother Yi Yu, this is great progress!"
"I can't run away. So let it be. I accept my fate."
His face flushed, and he tilted his head back slightly. Song Shengsheng looked at him, shivering, happy... seeking...
