Shang Ning: "..."
It must be a coincidence.
Shang Ning logged into her email and downloaded the file Zhao Xinxin had sent her. There were two folders in total, the largest of which contained a video. Shang Ning reached out and opened the video, which was five minutes long. At the beginning, it showed one or two people, either on the road or in their own rooms. Some of them were fans of Jin Yining, some were fans of Qin Wei, and some were fans of the couple. They might have sounded embarrassed or even awkward, but in the end, they all said "I'm sorry."
Shang Ning watched frame by frame, realizing that this group, which had once frightened her, might not be as terrifying as she had imagined.
The three of them were the last to apologize, probably in the grove of trees at Zhao Xinxin's school; they certainly knew how to find a good spot.
Shang Ning's nose tingled, and her face was already wet with tears when she raised her hand. "Ning Kong, did you hear that? Those who were deceived are all apologizing to you."
After watching the video, Shang Ning found that the second folder was full of screenshots. The first screenshot was written by Zhao Xinxin: "I know you're busy right now and definitely don't have time to watch, so I've compiled all the sincere apologies from the comments for you. You still need to have faith in our fandom. There are too many apology comments, so I've compiled some for you."
Shang Ning knew that there would be apologies, but there would definitely be negative news as well; she just didn't want to see it. What an idiot.
"Knock knock knock..."
A knock sounded at the door, and Shang Ning hurriedly put down her computer, wiped away her tears, and got out of bed. "Who is it?"
Jin Yining paused for a moment while knocking on the door, then quickly resumed her knocking. Did she sound like she was crying?
Shang Ning went over and opened the door. Jin Yining's hand was still in mid-air when he came in and closed the door. "What's wrong?"
"It's nothing, what are you doing?" Shang Ning sniffed, looking at Jin Yining warily.
Jin Yining glanced at the computer on the bed, pulled her over to the table, took out some tissues, and wiped her face clean.
Shang Ning was startled and thought to herself, "There's no one here, who are you putting on this for?"
But Jin Yining clearly didn't give her that time. He gently wiped her clean and asked, "Want some hot pot?"
"Second-rate."
As Shang Ning spoke, she sniffed, feeling better and wanting to eat.
"Go wash your face." Jin Yining pushed her to the bathroom to wash her face. After Shang Ning went in, she went to put away the computer, saw the screenshots on it, and glanced back at the bathroom. This could be considered as a relief for her.
In that case, whether Ning Kong was the one who caused the car accident or not is no longer so important.
Shang Ning went in to wash her face, but after she finished, she felt something was off. How could she have forgotten to kick the person out after just one hot pot meal?
After washing her face and changing her clothes, Shang Ning was fine except for her slightly swollen eyes.
The hot pot was arranged at Jingge, in a private room that Brother Yang had reserved beforehand. When Shang Ning and Jin Yining arrived, Qin Wei and Brother Yang had already ordered the food.
The waiter led them in and glanced at them curiously, but since they'd seen many celebrities here, they knew to keep it a secret.
Jin Yining and Shang Ning took off their masks and went over. Shang Ning pushed Jin Yining to sit inside, so that he could sit facing Qin Wei.
Jin Yining glanced at her, and Shang Ning smiled in a way that was a bit irritating, then sat down opposite Brother Yang.
"Did Li Yunna's assistant come to see you today?" Qin Wei poured some water and asked curiously. Yang Ge said he didn't know what he said, but the assistant left quickly. In the past, he could pester Maodou for hours to find out about Jin Yining, so he was curious about what Shang Ning had said.
