"Of course I'm happy, why wouldn't I be?" Shang Ning said, taking the documents over. "But I still want to thank you."
"Come on, you're already being lenient by not cursing me a few times." Yang Fei said, glancing around. "I see you're doing pretty well with your live streams, are you really not planning to act in a movie with me?"
"You haven't even figured out your own life, yet you're trying to live someone else's life," Shang Ning said calmly, tossing the documents onto the table.
The dust has settled, but it turns out that it wasn't a relief at all.
Yang Fei looked at the person opposite her and said, "You plan to keep doing live streaming forever? How many years can you stream? How long can you sustain what you're teaching?"
Yang Fei asked sincerely, not out of guilt, but simply because she felt that the person in front of her was worth making friends with.
Shang Ning didn't know how long he could hold out. There were many optical technologies, but very few that could be used in daily life, and if he went into too much detail, no one would listen.
But after living for more than 20 years, all she knew how to do was conduct experiments and teach.
Yang Fei's gaze shifted downwards, landing on the image she had paused: Jin Yining and Qin Wei.
"I have an idea for you, you can consider tutoring classes."
"Tutoring classes? I don't even have a teacher's certificate..."
"I'm talking about tutoring classes. As for the format, you're the boss, so figure it out yourself," Yang Fei said, tapping the table. "Think about it yourself. I'm leaving."
Yang Fei got up and left, increasingly unable to understand her boss. They were divorced, and his ex-wife still wanted him to be with another man, yet he was still preoccupied with what to do with his ex-wife in the future.
She herself couldn't understand what Ning Kong could have to do with tutoring classes.
As Shang Ning watched Yang Fei leave, a thought suddenly flashed through his mind, and he turned and went to the study.
After Yang Fei left the house, she went into the elevator and made a phone call. The person on the other end answered quickly.
"The message has been delivered."
"Um."
"Mr. Jin, how did you come up with such a completely unrelated idea?" After all, there's a big difference between live streaming and tutoring in the entertainment industry.
“It suits her.” Jin Yining had just finished filming and took the water that Maodou handed her. “I’ve looked at the file you sent me last night. It’s fine. Go and process it.”
"President Jin, may I ask you a question? Didn't you not want a divorce before?"
"Is it something I can decide to stop just because I don't want to?"
Yang Fei: "..."
Yang Fei slammed down the phone, feeling that her boss was actually aggrieved.
Jin Yining stared at the phone that had been hung up, feeling that he, as the boss, had no real authority.
Qin Wei sat down next to him and watched as Jin Yining put down his phone. "We've brought most of the known people under control. Old Wolf's side is also being watched. We're just waiting for evidence to arrest him."
Jin Yining responded, picked up her water glass, took a sip, and calmly replied, "Wait."
Qin Wei put down his cup and looked at Jin Yining, "Do you really think Xia You will betray Lao Lang in his current situation?"
Jin Yining twirled the cup in her hand, calculating the time. Shang Ning had finally gotten what she was waiting for. "Whether Xia You will speak up or not, it will be in the next couple of days. Just wait and see."
"Are you sure?" Qin Wei felt that he understood Jin Yining less and less. He used to be able to tell what Jin Yining was doing, but now the motivation behind everything he did had changed.
That original intention was called—Shangning.
"Hmm." Jin Yining was certain her plan wouldn't change because she trusted Shang Ning. "By the way, did you find out about that senior sister you were asked to investigate before?"
