No one could answer her, and no one would answer her.
Unable to get an answer, Shang Ning continued drinking, and soon a ring of beer cans appeared around her feet.
The beer cans rolled in the wind. Shang Ning leaned against the tombstone, seemingly asleep, but tears slid down her cheeks, landing on the tombstone and then slowly sliding down its surface.
The one shedding tears might be her, or it might be the one who has left forever.
Shang Ning slept in the cemetery for one night, and was woken up early the next morning by the old man who looked after the graves.

"Little girl, why are you sleeping here?" the old man said, glancing at Shang Ning and then at the person on the tombstone. Finally, he shook his head helplessly and left.
Shang Ning's head was throbbing badly. He raised his hand and hit his head hard. Sure enough, he had drunk too much, which was why his head hurt so much.
"Excuse me, who are you...?"
A gentle male voice suddenly rang out, causing Shang Ning to instantly straighten up, her body stiffening slightly.
Shang Ning lowered her head and walked right past the man and woman behind her.
He Zhiyan watched the woman leave, then turned back to look at the lilies in front of the tombstone and the scattered cans and bottles around her. Was she here to see Shang Ning?

From the moment she first proposed using light of different lengths to bind with cancer cells, no one accepted it. For the past six months, she has been staying in the lab, and when she is on the verge of collapse from doing experiments, she always watches their videos to find motivation.
She went to City A to attend a meeting for this very reason. She has sufficient evidence to support her proposal this time; she just needs time.
“It’s normal to reject it. You know yourself that those things are just Shang Ning’s wild ideas. If the length of light could be used to treat cancer, and everyone lived under the sun, would there still be cancer patients?” Xia You looked at He Zhiyan. “Shang Ning has been pampered by everyone all these years. She is too arrogant and can’t see reality at all.”
"Xia You," He Zhiyan said in a deep voice, his expression also becoming much more somber, "Ningning is no longer here."
Xia You, reprimanded, pursed her lips, her eyes clearly showing displeasure. "I didn't say anything wrong. If she hadn't lived such a high-profile life, would she have been..."
Just as Xia You was about to say something, He Zhiyan glanced at her, and Xia You shut her mouth, clutching her clothes.
Shang Ning didn't listen any further and quickened his pace down the mountain.
