Shang Ning reached for her small cake, turned around, leaned back in her chair, and ate it.
Jin Yining's phone still had Shang Ning's photo on it, and he looked down at it.
The small cakes were quite sweet and a bit cloying, so Shang Ning ate them very slowly. "Is the scientist that Teacher Jin likes really not Professor Chen? Then who is the scientist that Teacher Jin likes?"
Jin Yining placed her phone face down on the table. "Guess."
Shang Ning: "..."

Teacher Jin is really not friendly at all.

Shang Ning wanted to argue, but because of a stomachache, she had to go to the toilet and decided to talk to her about it later.
Lin Tingyu watched her leave, a slight smile playing on her lips. "Isn't she good at fighting back against online attacks? Go and fight back against Jin Yining yourself."
Lin Tingyu thought for a moment, then reached out and took the small cake that Shang Ning hadn't finished eating. She smiled at the staff around her and then left with the cake.
After Lin Tingyu left, the crew began to whisper among themselves.
Shang Ning ran to the restroom several times, completely oblivious to the stares of those around her. When she returned and sat down in Jin Yining's seat, she looked at the table and noticed that the small cake was gone.
Shang Ning clutched his stomach and cursed under his breath. He'd been tricked at the worst possible time.
Very good, she'll remember Lin Tingyu.
