Chapter 24 You really don't know Shang Ning?

Shang Ning, who was blowing on the burn on the back of her hand, looked up immediately upon hearing these sarcastic and mocking words.

Jin Yining had already come over, turned off the stove, and watched the round eggs spinning in the pan. Water was splashed all around the pan, and the lid was shattered like snowflakes on the ground. His gaze fell on her hand, and he pulled her hand and placed it directly under the tap, turning it on.

"what?"

"I'll scald you to death." Jin Yining chuckled. The water flow was small, enough to relieve the pain from the burn on the back of her hand.

Shang Ning was momentarily speechless, and tried to pull her hand back, but couldn't manage to.

"Teacher Jin, Teacher Jin, are you completely letting go of your inhibitions and even starting to reveal your true nature?"

"Does your hand not hurt anymore?" Jin Yining said, turning off the tap and then pinching the area around the small blisters on her hands.

"Ouch—Jin Yining, you son of a bitch!" Shang Ning cursed in pain. "You're taking revenge for personal reasons."

Jin Yining glanced at her, scoffed, and dragged her by the wrist out.

Where is the first-aid kit?

"How should I know? This isn't me..." Shang Ning was still immersed in Jin Yining's personal revenge. She never expected him to be this kind of man! So she didn't even notice what she was saying. It wasn't until she had almost finished speaking that Shang Ning suddenly realized what she was saying.

"What did you say?" Jin Yining had clearly heard that sentence too, so what was she going to say next?

This isn't my home.

Shang Ning blinked a few times unconsciously, even swallowing a few mouthfuls of saliva. "What I mean is, I don't remember now, I don't remember."

Although the amnesia trope was a setup, it can still be used occasionally.

Jin Yining stared at her for a while, until Shang Ning felt guilty and started sweating, before searching through several drawers in the living room and finally finding the medicine box in the drawer under the TV cabinet.

Besides the medicine box, there was a notebook underneath. The notebook's cover was dirty and messy, as if it had been violently torn, and there were thick ink stains on it.

"Ouch...it hurts."

Shang Ning's cry of pain made Jin Yining look away, then she closed the drawer, picked up her medicine box, and sat down on the coffee table. "Give me your hand."

"I'll do it myself," Shang Ning said firmly. What if this person continued to retaliate? Would she still want her hand?

Shang Ning took the burn ointment from Jin Yining and carefully applied it.

Jin Yining sat on the coffee table, watching Shang Ning carefully apply the medicine, but her mind was still on the notebook she had just seen.

"You really don't know Shang Ning?" Jin Yining suddenly asked.

Shang Ning, who was applying medicine, looked up at Jin Yining upon hearing this and asked, "What, are you very familiar with her?"

Ask again and again!

Must we force her to say 'that dead woman' herself?

Shang Ning's impatient words made Jin Yining suspect that this person knew Shang Ning, or perhaps more than just knew him.

"You know her." This time it wasn't a question.

Shang Ning was applying the medicine when this person kept rambling on and on. Shang Ning couldn't help but think to herself: She's known this person since the time Shang Ning was first fertilized. Isn't that amazing?

So Shang Ning looked up at Jin Yining and asked, "What, you really know her?"

Are you kidding me?

If Jin Yining knew her, would she need to spend every day scrolling through Weibo looking for sweet moments?

She doesn't remember knowing such a big star.

After applying the medicine, Shang Ning threw the cotton swab into the trash can. Her whole body ached. She realized that people should never do bad things, or they would suffer the consequences.

Just as Jin Yining was about to say something, his phone rang. Shang Ning watched as he got up and went to the balcony to answer the call.

Shang Ning just couldn't understand why Jin Yining, who had left so angrily before, had come back now.
