Chapter 276 Ungrateful Wolves

Jin Yining waited for a while, but there was still no reply. A small crease appeared between Jin Yining's brows. Wasn't she just chatting happily with Qin Wei?

Why is he silent now?

Ungrateful wretches; those he rescued were indeed all ungrateful wretches.

Shang Ning didn't reply to Jin Yining's message until she got home, and there were even marks of fire on her face.

So, this message was actually sent by Qin Wei using Jin Yining's phone, or Jin Yining was just joking again; the old fox loves to see others embarrassed.

To be precise, I enjoy seeing her embarrassed.

Shang Ning decided to clean up the guest room first, so that Lin Xue could move in right after being discharged from the hospital.

Before she could even go inside to tidy up, the doorbell rang. Shang Ning turned around to open the door. "Who is it?" She saw the person outside through the peephole, then reached out and pulled the door open. "Why are you here?"

Yang Fei came in and scoffed, "You think I wanted to come? I'm practically your babysitter now."

Perhaps because they were already familiar with each other, Yang Fei didn't stand on ceremony with Shang Ning and told him her true thoughts.

Shang Ning poured some water and placed it in front of her. "You're really good to the pillar of your company, aren't you? You personally help him with everything?"

Yang Fei watched as Shang Ning sat down opposite her and picked up her cup. She wanted to hand it to someone else, but Jin Yining wouldn't allow it. It was such a trivial matter; she didn't need to come over herself.

"The court hearing is tomorrow. What are you planning to do?" Yang Fei asked directly, getting straight to the point.

Shang Ning leaned back in his chair and shrugged slightly. "I have photos and videos of Lin Tingyu meeting with that plaintiff. Moreover, Lin Tingyu and I have a grudge against each other. Currently, many people in the 'Legend of the First God' crew know this."

“You mentioned the laxatives incident on set, but you have no evidence for that,” Yang Fei reminded her. “However, there’s another way out: you hit her this afternoon?”

Shang Ning nodded, but the places she hit would only hurt, not to the point of injury.

"She once tried to persuade the doctor to forge a certificate for her, and that can be used."

Shang Ning raised her hand and gently tapped her chin. She still wanted to laugh when she thought about it, but she held it in at this moment.

Shang Ning suppressed a laugh for a moment, "Actually, this matter may not necessarily lead to a lawsuit. That little fan with a brain knows what the situation is. The rest is a personal feud between me and Lin Tingyu, which we will resolve ourselves."

Yang Fei raised an eyebrow slightly, took out something that looked like a ticket from her bag, and pushed it in front of Shang Ning. "I've noticed you really like taking pictures. This is a pass my friend gave me to see the aurora borealis this December. I don't like those things, so I'm giving it to you."

Shang Ning glanced down at it. She was very familiar with that thing. She had been invited there before, but she knew that very few people could get such a pass, and the price was ridiculously high.

Shang Ning reached out and took the pass. "It must be quite expensive."

"Enough with the chit-chat, I'm leaving now if I don't need your help," Yang Fei said, picking up her bag and preparing to leave.

Shang Ning got up and saw her to the door, watching Yang Fei leave. "Actually, you've already helped me a lot. Let bygones be bygones. If you keep dwelling on the past, no one can walk a good path in the future."

Yang Fei entered the elevator, turned around to look at Shang Ning standing at the door, waved, and then the elevator door closed.
