"Are the two dads at home taking care of the kids? Are you worried that the fanfiction people write for you online isn't based on reality?" Yang Fei said, putting down her bag and looking at Shang Ning. He seemed perfectly normal.
Shang Ning turned to look at Yang Fei, blinked, and then looked at Jin Yining, "Brother, we have guests at home, where is Mom?"
Yang Fei: "..."
"Mom's gone to work. You eat first. Your brother needs to talk to Auntie." Jin Yining put the rice bowl on the table, placed the small spoon in her hand, and then got up to go to the study to get some documents.
Yang Fei: "..."
Aunt?
Call her?
Shang Ning pursed her lips, looked up at Yang Fei who was standing, and said, "Auntie, please sit down." As she spoke, Shang Ning got up and ran to the kitchen to pour water.
Yang Fei's lips twitched involuntarily as she looked at Qin Wei, who shrugged slightly.
Shang Ning carried water out of the kitchen, walking very carefully.
Jin Yining took out the documents, looked at Shang Ning who was holding a water glass with both hands, and took the water glass from her in one step instead of three.
"For Auntie." Shang Ning smiled, her eyes curving like crescent moons.
Jin Yining raised his hand and patted her head, telling her to go play with Brother Qin, as he and Yang Fei still had things to talk about.
Shang Ning tilted his head, nodded, and went to find Qin Wei.
"What's wrong?" Yang Fei looked at Jin Yining as he came over, then glanced at the cartoon on TV, a cartoon that her son hadn't watched even when he was three years old.
"It's nothing," Jin Yining said, pushing the documents in front of her over. "I've revised the contract with Xingkong. Take a look."
"Not acting anymore?" Yang Fei said, hurriedly picking up the documents. After all, Jin Yining was truly the most talented actor she had ever mentored. Although acting was just a hobby for him, it would be a real pity if he stopped acting in the future.
"Take a look first."
Yang Fei looked down at the document and was relieved to see that it didn't say she wouldn't take on any acting roles, but that she wouldn't accept any commercial endorsements.
Yang Fei frowned after reading it. "This is equivalent to reducing your exposure, so you won't get many acting offers in the future."
"How's the new team I asked you to assemble coming along?"
"You mean, the project we invest in ourselves?" Yang Fei put down the documents in her hand. After thinking about it, she understood. If it was their own project, then they could decide who the lead actor was.
Jin Yining is a person who never lets himself suffer losses in business.
"Okay, I understand," Yang Fei said, putting the documents in her bag. "Has the news died down yet?"
"Hmm." Jin Yining said, turning back to look at Shang Ning, who was calling out to Qin Wei to give her a lollipop.
Yang Fei also saw it and intuitively felt that Jin Yining had turned down all business deals because of her.
Although she didn't know what had happened, it probably wasn't something to be happy about, so Yang Fei didn't pry too much into her boss's privacy.
After Yang Fei left, Jin Yining went over, snatched the lollipop, and handed it to Shang Ning.
Qin Wei clicked his tongue. "Is this how she'll be from now on?"
"No." Jin Yining said firmly, looking at the person sitting on the stool eating a lollipop. She still had so many things she wanted to do, how could she continue like this?
"Brother, the picture book." Shang Ning still remembered this. "Buy the picture book."
Jin Yining squatted down and held her hand. "Okay, I'll take you to buy picture books in a little while."
"Let's go now, let's go now." Shang Ning said, getting up and pulling Jin Yining to go out.
Surprisingly, Jin Yining did not stop him.
