Chapter 353 Too Noisy

go home?

Jin Yining looked down at Shang Ning, wondering how to bring him back.

"The old master and young lady are over there, young master should go back," the driver added.

"I understand, let's go back." Jin Yining said, still looking at Shang Ning, "Brother will take you somewhere, we can go home later, okay?"

“Okay.” Shang Ning looked up from the picture book, completely trusting him.

Jin Yining patted her head and said, "Just take her back to your room and hide her there. Don't let your family see her."

The atmosphere at the Jin family was somewhat serious at the moment. Jin Xuguo, who rarely returned, sat opposite the old man without saying a word.

Sitting next to Jin Xujing was Lin Tingyu, who had come to pay her New Year's respects.

It was Jin Xujing who was speaking at this moment, criticizing Jin Yining's current actions and asking the old man to judge the matter.

Lian Jingyan was helping prepare afternoon tea in the kitchen, keeping a close eye on what was happening outside.

The maid sighed helplessly. This young lady always comes back in a rage; she doesn't know where all her anger comes from.

There was the sound of an engine stopping outside. Lian Jingyan looked out and guessed that her son had probably come home.

Jin Yining brought Shang Ning back, and Jin Xujing raised his voice even louder. As soon as they entered the door, Shang Ning was so frightened that she hid behind Jin Yining.

"Senior brother, you're back." Lin Tingyu smiled and got up, squinting at Shang Ning who had dodged away, her expression still showing scrutiny.

"Brother, let's go home," Shang Ning whispered. This place was a little scary.

"Dad, did you see that? He brought that woman back again. What did I say? That woman is clinging to Yining and won't let go."

"You should say less," Jin Xuguo frowned, finally unable to hold back his words.

The sound clearly made Shang Ning uncomfortable. She frowned, her mind was in a mess, and she tightened her grip on Jin Yining's hand.

“Ningning…”

"It's so noisy." It's unclear whether Shang Ning was referring to reality or her own thoughts when she said "noisy."

Jin Yining raised his hand and pressed the person against his chest, then bent down slightly and picked the person up horizontally, carrying them directly upstairs.

Lin Tingyu opened her mouth, looking at the people going upstairs.

"Dad, look at this, look at the present..."

"Auntie, could you please be quiet for a moment?" Jin Yining turned around, still polite, but definitely not courteous.

Jin Xujing's words were all suppressed, and his face instantly turned red with anger.

When did Jin Yining ever speak to her in this tone?

Jin Yining carried Shang Ning back to the room, closed the door, and placed her on the bed. "It's alright now, don't make a sound."

Shang Ning hugged her legs, her mind still a jumble of noises.

Jin Yining held her in his arms, and when he heard footsteps outside, he said in a deep voice, "Get out."

It was Lin Tingyu; her hand hadn't yet fallen.

But Jin Yining's muffled voice was clear and distinct.

Lin Tingyu's hand, which was about to knock on the door, fell down as her face darkened. She wondered what kind of trouble that woman was up to now.

Lin Tingyu turned and went downstairs, her face showing grievance.

"Tingyu, what's wrong?" Jin Xujing asked, looking at her expression.

"My senior brother must be busy, Mr. Jin, Uncle and Aunt, I'll head back now. I'll come visit again when I have time." As she spoke, she picked up her bag, her eyes red, clearly on the verge of tears.

Jin Xujing's temper flared instantly, and he immediately went upstairs.

"Xu Jing of Jin, are you ever going to stop?" Xu Guo of Jin said in a deep voice, "Are you blind? Can't you see that the child is uncomfortable?"
