Qin Wei was arrested, as were Ning Baiyuan and Lin Xue, but Jin Yining remained calm and continued to investigate the secrets of the mountain.

Qin and Wei were locked up in a village near the desolate mountains. The village was ravaged by a fierce wind and was pitch black, as if every household had gone to bed early because of the wind.

Qin Wei sat against the wall, the handcuffs on his wrists gleaming coldly. He kept looking out the window, listening to the howling wind.
Ning Sang pushed the door open and came in with a flashlight. "Mr. Qin, what's your decision? It seems your good friend doesn't care about you very much."
Qin Wei lazily turned his head, the flashlight beam shining white onto Ning Sang's face, making her look like a female ghost.
"What time is it?" Qin Wei suddenly asked.
"It's almost three o'clock." She was still happy to answer the question posed by the prisoner.
Upon hearing the answer, Qin Wei looked outside again. "Cooperation with you is possible, but I wonder what benefits you can offer me?"
