Jin Yining watched Shang Ning walk out. Fine, he figured he'd never be able to bring himself to say he wanted to support her in this lifetime, and she wouldn't let anyone support her anyway.
After leaving Jin Yining's office, Shang Ning went over to say goodbye to Maodou and was about to leave.
Unexpectedly, she bumped into Kun Ying who was passing by when she turned around. Shang Ning nodded slightly, apologized, and walked past her.
Kunying watched Shang Ning leave. She hadn't seen her clearly in the morning, but now she could see that this woman was almost too beautiful.
She had just watched Shang Ning's previous live stream. It was good, and she assumed it was filtered with beauty filters. But seeing the real person now, Kun Ying naturally made a comparison.
"Edamame, who is this?"
"Ning Kong, Ning-ge's fiancée." Mao Dou thought Kun Ying didn't know, so she explained and sat down to continue with her own business. Ning-ge would be joining the film crew in a few days, and she still needed to contact the crew about starting filming.
Kunying watched Shang Ning disappear before turning back to Maodou, "Is Teacher Jin about to join the film crew? Should I go now too?"
Maodou looked up and blinked at Kunying, "Sister, I don't know about this. I'm only responsible for Brother Ning."
"Excuse me, I'm new here and don't know the rules yet."
Maodou smiled and said, "I'm Ning-ge's assistant. Kunying-jie can ask Cheng-jie, who's mentoring you."
"Okay, thank you," Kunying said, smiled, and left.
Jin Yining, the marketing lady sitting next to Maodou, slid over in her chair, glanced at Kunying who had just left, and remarked, "That woman doesn't look like a good person."
Having worked in marketing for several years, these people are quite good at judging character.
Maodou sat down to finalize the hotel arrangements, explained the requirements, glanced at her colleague after hearing her words, and then continued with her work, saying, "Brother Ning only cares about Sister Ning; it's difficult for anyone else to get in."
"Is she really that good?"
Maodou paused in her typing. She hadn't actually spent much time with Shang Ning, but compared to the actresses she had met, she was really quite good.
Shang Ning and Xia Tian arranged to meet Zhao Xinxin at her university. Zhao Xinxin had classes that wouldn't end until around 4:30, so they arrived at the school first.
The early spring air was still chilly, but Shang Ning was wearing a beige trench coat over a white cashmere sweater and black trousers, which was fine.
When Xia Tian arrived, Shang Ning was already there. Xia Tian greeted her and handed her the milk tea, saying, "You got the pudding one."
"Perfect." Shang Ning reached out and took it; it was still warm. She couldn't wait to insert the straw and take a sip.
Xia Tian put away her car keys. "Let's broadcast the live stream tomorrow. I already posted photos today. Why are you suddenly in such a hurry to record videos? And so many at once."
"I'll be leaving for a while by next month at the latest. I've been thinking about it, and I'll come back to get a photographer's certification. Becoming a photographer wouldn't be bad." Shang Ning drank her milk tea as she walked into the school with Xia Tian. "I don't want to go back to university. Teaching isn't a good fit for me right now."
"Why?"
"It's about mindset. I feel unworthy of being a teacher. Even if I go back, I'm not good enough for the profession."
"If you put it that way, there are plenty of people who are unworthy of being called teachers." Xia Tian chuckled softly. "But it's fine too, since you're going back to teaching, you'll probably have even more to prepare."
Shang Ning nodded, "I'm thinking of recording the videos I need for the next six months first, and then you can just release them when the time comes. Then I'll go back and take the photographer certification exam. With the foundation I've built from the previous videos, it should be pretty easy to find a job."
"Does Teacher Jin know that you've done this?"
