Chapter 480 So Idle!

Jin Yining watched Xia Tian go inside, shook his head helplessly, and finally drove back to the hotel.

When Jin Yining returned, Qin Wei was in his room. He turned around and closed the door without asking how he got in, since it really didn't make any sense.

"No schedule tomorrow, why are you drinking so late?" Jin Yining tossed his car keys on the table, then boiled water and watched the people drinking over there.

Qin Wei continued drinking by the window. "You investigated her?"

"Want to listen?" Jin Yining took out a cup, intending to brew some coffee, but after thinking about it, she put the coffee back and put an effervescent tablet into the cup instead.

Qin and Wei remained silent.

Jin Yining waited until the water was boiled, poured it into a cup, and then walked over with the cup, saying, "If you don't want to listen, go back to sleep."

"What is it about her that makes you wait until now?"

Jin Yining sat down on the recliner. "It's not that great, but it's just that no one else can replace it."

Qin Wei: "..."

He shouldn't have come to ask Jin Yining.

Qin Wei glanced at his cup, then jumped off the windowsill, leaving the bottle aside. "You should have taken that thermos; you could have used it to make some goji berries while you were at it."

"That's how it's prepared."

Qin Wei: "..."

You're insane.

Qin Wei walked right past him and went out.

“I’m going back to City A the day after tomorrow. If this matter continues to drag on, the problem will only get worse. It really is time to set some rules.” Jin Yining said, watching Qin Wei leave. When Qin Wei reached the door, Jin Yining spoke again, “I’ll have Yang Fei contact your agent. You can arrange the contract transfer. It’s inevitable that you’ll be restricted when you’re constantly being pressured to do things.”

Qin Wei waved his hand and left.

Summer got home close to midnight. Without disturbing her parents, she went straight to her room, but couldn't fall asleep.

She understood what Jin Yining meant, but understanding didn't mean she would accept it.

Is a human life really that worthless?

Xia Tian reached for her phone and looked at Shang Ning's profile picture, which had been offline for several months. Sometimes she really envied Shang Ning, who did everything she could to achieve what she wanted.

There's no need to consider any consequences.

But she also knows that Shang Ning's ability to do whatever she likes today is something she earned through her own hard work.

Now that things have begun, she won't let it end so quickly.

Even if Qin Wei truly hates her in the end, she will not hesitate.

Shang Ning was transferring through City A when traveling abroad. The layover was four hours long, and even going home during that time would be a hassle, so they stayed at the airport to wait for their connecting flight.

Shang Ning talked to Chen Feng about the experiment for a while, then couldn't stay awake any longer and fell asleep leaning back in her chair.

Chen Feng didn't hear any sound. When he looked up, he found that the person had fallen asleep. He didn't say anything and continued to look at the data.

The rest of the people were either catching up on sleep or eating.

When Jin Yining arrived, Shang Shangning was already asleep. He greeted the fans, signaling them to be quiet, and then sat down next to Shang Shangning, pulling him close.

Shang Ning shifted slightly, and Jin Yining spoke in a low voice, "It's me."

Shang Ning calmed down, placed her hand on his body, and fell into a deep sleep.

She was so tired that she had lost count of how long it had been since she had a good night's sleep.

Chen Feng looked up at Jin Yining, wondering what this person had flown over for. He hadn't even woken him up, and had just been waiting for two hours without saying a word.

Bored!
