Chapter 532 Change of Fortune

"How could the weather change so suddenly?" a staff member remarked as they tidied up.

Jin Yining remained there, watching the torrential rain pour down.

There was thunder and lightning outside, and all electrical equipment was turned off. It was probably impossible to go back to the hotel now, but fortunately there was still a place to take shelter from the rain.

"Brother Ning." His assistant handed him a water glass and looked outside as well.

"With this thunder and lightning, it probably won't stop anytime soon." One of the men patted the rain off himself, checked the time, and said, "Director, let's not film today. Let's wait for the rain to subside and go back to the hotel."

The director looked outside; he didn't know when the rain would stop.

"Director, look! That's a dragon!" someone suddenly shouted, pointing to the dark clouds outside. The shape of the clouds really did look like a celestial dragon soaring through the rainstorm.

Many people started taking out their phones to capture this rare sight.

Jin Yining's hands, still behind her back, were holding a water glass, her brows furrowed deeply.

A bolt of lightning struck, and the dark dragon in the clouds seemed to be directly hit by the lightning. A golden light flashed, and it was as if a phoenix flew out from the golden dragon, only to quickly disappear under the dark clouds again.

Shang Ning bent over, watching the little girl beneath him cry her heart out in pain. Gu Xiaoqi gritted her teeth and held her daughter's small body, watching as the red liquid slowly slid down from the tube.

Sweat dripped from Shang Ning's body, landing on the little girl's belly.

Outside, lightning flashed and thunder roared; inside, the sound of weeping shook the heavens.

Gu Xiaoqi felt sorry for her daughter but could only endure it. When she looked up at Shang Ning, her face was even paler than Shang Ning's.

"Are you alright?" Gu Xiaoqi asked with concern.

Shang Ning was not feeling well. In addition to the pain from the catheter piercing the area, her limbs were also aching and sore, and even her consciousness was becoming somewhat blurred.

But before the blood had completely drained, the little girl cried until her voice was hoarse.

"It's alright," Shang Ning said, her body aching from the pulling. Her hands, which were resting by her legs, clenched into fists as she tried to clear her mind.

Gu Xiaoqi kept pressing down on the little girl's legs and arms, her forehead against her little head, knowing that she was in pain, but if the curse could be lifted, she would rather her daughter suffer this time.

"Bang..."

A loud bang came from the sky, as if a hole had been smashed in the sky, and rain poured down.

When Jin Yining and the others returned to the hotel, the downpour turned into a torrential downpour. The assistant went over and closed all the windows, and called someone to come and clean up the rainwater that was pouring in through the windows.

"Brother Ning, this rain is terrifying!"

Jin Yining changed his clothes, reached for the hat and put it on, still not used to his bald head.

"Go and rest first, this rain probably won't stop anytime soon," Jin Yining said, gesturing for her assistant to go and rest.

After the assistant left, Jin Yining called Shang Ning, but no one answered. She then called Leng Yexi, but the call was hung up after a while. A few moments later, a video call was sent.

Jin Yining answered the video call and the first thing she saw was Shang Ning lying on the bed, resting. Shang Ning was pale and had not yet woken up.

"I can't send the person over for the time being. This rain will last for a few more days," Leng Yexi said bluntly.

Jin Yining stared at the person on the bed, her face deathly pale. "She..."
