Shang Ning raised her hand and scratched her head. She remembered that this place wasn't like this before.
"I think..."
"You'd better not think about it anymore," Chen Yiyang interrupted her. "I'm starting to wonder if Jin Yining is blind."
Shang Ning rubbed her nose and could only wait for the car with Chen Yiyang. "But think about it from another perspective. Even in this situation, you can still take a taxi. Isn't that a way out?"
Chen Yiyang looked Shang Ning up and down, and for a moment he didn't know what to say. "I say, have you always been this blindly optimistic?"
"No, no, no, I used to be just like you."
"I think you're calling me stupid again."
Shang Ning nodded, not denying the statement. She used to be foolish too, "but later I realized that when you reach a dead end, there will always be a narrow path next to you. It just depends on whether you can find it."
Chen Yiyang sneered and waited for the car to arrive.
"Do I need you to teach me how to be a person?"
"Just a suggestion." Shang Ning sat down by the roadside, unconcerned by Chen Yiyang's glance. "You don't need to confine yourself to one area. The world is so big, don't you want to go out and explore?"
"Running around the world like you?"
"I'm here to make money," Shang Ning said, looking up at Chen Yiyang. "Hey, seriously, haven't you ever thought about doing something else?"
"No."
“I never thought about it at first, but aren’t I living a good life now? At least I’ve found a second thing I can do.”
"Is it just a show of coyness and affectation to show one's face in public?"
Shang Ning rolled her eyes. "I think you're prejudiced against live streaming. Have you even watched a live stream?"
"No."
Shang Ning: "..."
It just doesn't make sense.
Shang Ning stood up as the car approached, brushing the dirt off his clothes. "So you need to see for yourself. How will you know what the outside world is like if you don't?"
Shang Ning pulled Chen Yiyang into the car. Chen Yiyang glared at her, thinking, "This is the taxi she hailed, isn't it?"
"Master, the amusement park." Shang Ning stated the location directly.
"I didn't say that..."
"Don't rush," Shang Ning interrupted Chen Yiyang. "Just follow me today, don't worry about anything. I guarantee you won't want to drink a drop of alcohol when you get home tonight."
Chen Yiyang immediately picked up his phone and called Jin Yining, getting straight to the point, "Is your wife sick?"
"I'm filming, busy, hanging up."
Chen Yiyang: "..."
Chen Yiyang glared at Shang Ning, who shrugged slightly. "Teacher Jin is really busy. I haven't seen him in a long time."
Chen Yiyang sneered. "You believe her nonsense? You just came from there this morning, didn't you?"
"Hey, what made you decide to come here? Do you have relatives here?" Shang Ning asked curiously. "You could have told me before you came. My family lives across the street from He Zhiyan."
"What does your house, which is across from He Zhiyan's, have to do with me?" Chen Yiyang's expression darkened further.
"So you only know He Zhiyan, right? That way, he won't have to keep running to the hotel, will he? And if something happens to you, it'll be easier for him to take you to the hospital." Shang Ning looked at Chen Yiyang with a smile. "He Zhiyan is quite handsome, isn't he?"
"Would you dare say that to Jin Yining?"
"Why wouldn't I dare? You have to admit it's an objective fact. My childhood friend is just good-looking." Shang Ning said confidently. Although he couldn't compare to Jin Yining's face, He Zhiyan's title as the number one male god at B University was not fake.
