Jin Yining was removing her makeup over there, and could only hold her phone in her hand, unable to put it down.
"You'll know when it's announced. I'll finish filming here in three more days, but the rest will probably have to wait, as it's all outdoor shooting." Jin Yining glanced at the schedule. "I'll come find you myself then."
Shang Ning nodded with a smile, chatting with him while eating her noodles.
"She didn't say anything nasty, did she?"
"Your sister?" Shang Ning took a bite of noodles, shut down the computer, and pulled over a phone stand to put the phone down. "Your sister is a highly educated woman, what nasty things could she say? Besides, she's just a young girl, not a bad person. Why are you always tattling on her?"
Jin Yining clicked his tongue. It seemed his sister hadn't said anything too harsh, otherwise the girl wouldn't be speaking so politely right now.
"Coming here was actually out of some jealousy."
"Jealous of He Zhiyan?" Jin Yining scoffed, not knowing what He Zhiyan had to be jealous of.
"You living saint, you don't understand. Have you had dinner yet?"
"I've already eaten." Jin Yining took off her wig, took her hat, and then went to change her clothes with her phone.
By the time he came out, Shang Ning had already finished eating and simply threw the bag into the trash can.
"Are you going back to the hotel now?" Shang Ning asked as he walked out.
"I have an interview tonight, let's go somewhere else." Jin Yining and her assistant left the dressing room. "If you're tired, go to sleep, we'll talk about it tomorrow."
Shang Ning got up and went to the bedroom, lying directly on the bed. "I'm not sleepy. I took a nap this afternoon. I have a question for you. Have you studied photography?"
Jin Yining entered the elevator, and her assistant pressed the button for the first floor. Jin Yining leaned against the elevator wall to rest. "Why are you suddenly asking that?"
"I'm just curious. I don't think I've ever seen you take photos before. You've never even posted a selfie."
"Never seen me take a picture before?" Jin Yining asked back, then went back to his homepage, opened WeChat, and sent a picture of the two of them in bed.
Shang Ning: "..."
Teacher Jin is terrible online.
"So, have you seen it yet?"
Shang Ning gave a thumbs up, "Teacher Jin perfectly stirred up my memories. I don't want to see Teacher Jin for the next three days. That's all, goodbye."
Jin Yining: "..."
The video call had already ended, and Jin Yining was still a little dazed. After he came to his senses, he cursed himself inwardly, realizing he really knew how to bring up the most sensitive topics.
Shang Ning lay on the bed, holding her phone and looking at the photo. Neither the lighting nor the composition was particularly good; all that could be said was that the photography skills were passable.
However, Ni Lin is someone who has won international awards, and the technique used in this film is indeed not something that a top-tier person would produce.
Shang Ning got up and sat cross-legged, staring at the photo above. Who else could it be but Jin Yining?
He never says a word, he just gives her tips, and he always knows who she is during her live streams.
Congratulations?
Impossible. He Zhiyan probably doesn't even know what live streaming is.
Qin and Wei?
What, are you going to reward her for raising Jin Yining?
That's even less realistic.
"Beep beep..."
[Professor Shang's Money-Making Guy: I'll just try to see if I can still send messages?]
Shang Ning rolled her eyes, tossed her phone aside, and got up to take a shower.
She kept thinking about this while taking a shower, and the more she thought about it, the more something seemed off. Ni Lin was so high-profile; her fans all knew about it, so Jin Yining couldn't possibly not know.
If Jin Yining knew, how could she not react?
