Shang Ning held the little girl and coaxed her affectionately, "I don't even know how I can blame you. Besides, I'm fine now, so you don't need to keep worrying about it."
Gu Xiaoqi couldn't possibly ignore it, as she was still blaming herself, "Why did you choose to get married at this time? You were heavily pregnant."
Shang Ning hugged and kissed the little girl, saying, "How wonderful, so unique. And it's good to have things settled sooner rather than later so that people can finally put their minds at ease."
"Still a fan?"
Shang Ning nodded. "Recently, I've been getting a lot of messages from fans. Rather than letting them have any illusions, it's better to dispel their unrealistic ideas sooner rather than later."
"That's true." Gu Xiaoqi said, reaching for her daughter, but the little girl buried herself in Shang Ning's arms and wouldn't come out, her little hands still tightly holding Shang Ning's belly.
"Hey, you little hooligan, you're just like your second brother!" Gu Xiaoqi pulled the little girl back into her arms. The little girl pouted and burst into tears.
Seeing the little girl crying, Shang Ning felt extremely sorry for her and quickly picked her up. The little girl immediately smiled and placed her little hand on Shang Ning's stomach again.
"younger brother."
And so, a crisp and clear name was uttered.
Shang Ning suddenly looked up at Gu Xiaoqi and found that Gu Xiaoqi was also looking at her. However, after glancing at her, Gu Xiaoqi quickly pulled her daughter back, asking, "What did you just call out?"
"Ah, ah..." The little girl clung to Shang Ning with her tiny hands, still wanting him to hold her, but she wouldn't say anything.
Gu Xiaoqi was furious and stood up instantly: "Leng Yexi, do something about your daughter!"
Leng Yexi was talking to Jin Yining when he heard his wife's voice, so he came out, looked at the daughter being held by Shang Ning, and took her from her. "What's wrong?"
When her dad took her away, the little girl pouted slightly but didn't cry. She just leaned on her dad's shoulder and kept looking at Shang Ning's belly.
Gu Xiaoqi pointed at her daughter and then looked at Leng Yexi, "Your daughter just spoke, two very clear words."
Upon hearing that his daughter could speak, Leng Yexi looked down at her and asked, "You can talk now?"
They wouldn't speak no matter how much we taught them at home, but they started talking as soon as they came out?
"It's more than just talking now! Do you even know what your daughter said?"
Shang Ning touched the tip of her nose and then her stomach, looking at Jin Yining. Jin Yining, puzzled, came over and supported Shang Ning, "What's wrong?"
Shang Ning tiptoed and whispered something in Jin Yining's ear. Jin Yining's lips twitched, and then she saw that her master's face had turned black.
The first person the Leng family's little princess called out to wasn't Daddy, Mommy, or even her brother, but her younger brother—the little guy who wasn't even born yet in Shang Ning's belly. Jin Yining was already starting to worry for her son, fearing that he would be targeted by someone before he was even born, and definitely not in a good way.
"Well, it's getting late, how about we go out for dinner together?" Shang Ning broke the awkward silence with a smile.
"No need, let's go back first." Leng Yexi picked up his daughter and left.
The little girl nestled on her father's shoulder, looking at Shang Ning with a pitiful expression, before finally being carried away.
Shang Ning and Jin Yining subconsciously let out a sigh of relief. "What's your master doing here?"
