Shang Ning didn't know most of the crew members, and had only met some of them once or twice. However, the director was familiar with her and repeatedly wanted to invite her to be the female lead in his new film.
Sister Yang snorted.
Shang Ning felt a chill run down her spine. She called Xia Tian and went back to her room, leaving Jin Yining to entertain these people herself.
"Are you really afraid of her?" Xia Tian couldn't help but ask, looking at her spineless appearance.
"I'm afraid she might suddenly lose her temper one day and kill me, okay?" Shang Ning felt that this statement was not an exaggeration at all; Yang Fei had wanted to kill her for quite some time.
Shang Ning closed the window and drew the curtains. "How have you been lately? I heard Bai Lin is in a mental hospital now?"
"Hmm." Xia Tian sat down on the edge of the bed, looking rather listless.
Shang Ning went back, pulled up a stool, and sat down, looking at the absent-minded Xia Tian. "What exactly does Qin Wei mean?"
"I don't know, are you crazy?" Xia Tian said calmly, noticing Shang Ning's suitcase. "What are you going to do about your three million?"
“I had an experimental theory and preliminary construction, which I sold to someone for seven million.”

"Are you crazy?" Xia Tian said incredulously. "Wasn't that your own experiment?"
“It’s useless to me, it’s just trash. I need money. Someone else wants the initial construction of this experiment. It’s a fair trade.” Shang Ning shrugged slightly, seemingly unconcerned about the matter. “Besides, I might forget about these things myself in a few years. It’s better to sell them while they’re still valuable.”
"You've traded your major for Jin Yining."
Shang Ning did not deny this statement. "Jin Yining will tell Qin Wei about you coming with me in a little while. Don't worry, Qin Wei listens to Jin Yining."
The people outside were drinking and quite disorderly, so Shang Ning and Xia Tian went straight out, saying they wanted to go for a walk.

Zhao Xinxin was studying intensely during her exam week, so the two of them didn't disturb her. They simply strolled around the street and chatted.

“Giving in to life is an attitude that no one should have.” Shang Ning said as she walked, looking at Xia Tian. “But you have never been someone who gives in to life.”
Xia Tian chuckled softly, "Why give in? There's still so much to go in life, why should I bow my head now?"
Shang Ning paused for a moment, then burst out laughing. It made sense; this was how Senior Sister should be.
"Do you like him?" Shang Ning asked.
Summer frowned. "I'm annoyed by him."
Shang Ning puffed out her cheeks and looked up at the advertisement on the outdoor TV, an advertisement for skincare products endorsed by Qin Wei.
Shang Ning stopped and kept looking at the people over there. "I rarely see him smile genuinely, so when I saw him with Jin Yining before, I really felt sorry for this young man."
Summer stopped in her tracks, looked at the person in the video, and said calmly, "You're blind."
Shang Ning: "..."
Shang Ning turned to look at Xia Tian, whose hands were in her pockets and whose eyes were downcast, seemingly lost in thought.
"Actually, I think that since you're willing to go all the way with me, why not try starting a relationship with him?"
