Jin Yining returned from filming before Maodou left; Shang Ning was sleeping when he came back.
After seeing Maodou off, Jin Yining returned to his room and sat on the edge of the bed watching the sleeping person. Shang Ning sensed the person sitting on the edge of the bed, but just moved slightly, whispered something, and then continued to sleep.
Jin Yining didn't disturb her sleep. He sat by the bed for a while before going out to take care of that matter.
When Jin Yining returned after finishing his work, Shang Ning had also woken up.
Jin Yining brought back noodles. "You're awake. I bought you noodles downstairs."
Shang Ning tilted her head and glanced at it, confirming with her eyes that it was the type she loved.
"Did you go see Director Cheng?" Shang Ning ran to the kitchen to get a bowl of rice, and asked as she put the noodles in.
Jin Yining went to the bathroom to wash her hands, then came out to eat with her. "I've already said that if they insist on applying for it for you, I will pursue your rights."
"Won't you offend people by doing that?"
"Don't worry, I'm not afraid of offending these guys." Jin Yining helped her mix the noodles and watched Shang Ning eat. "You've been sleeping a lot lately, did you hurt yourself somewhere before?"
Shang Ning moved her lips slightly, "No, I'm just bored. People get especially tired when they're idle, and they tend to eat and sleep easily."
Jin Yining reached out and touched her head. She was relieved when her temperature returned to normal. "If you weren't busy with things at the studio, how could you be so free?"
"They say I'm superfluous, but it's because I'm not helping." Shang Ning wanted to help, but no one was willing to let her. Her only role now was to do the live stream on time.
Jin Yining chuckled softly, but after laughing, she still spoke apologetically, "I have a schedule tomorrow and the day after, so I have to leave tonight."
Shang Ning puffed out her cheeks. "Isn't your schedule already booked until next year?"
"After this drama is finished, I won't be taking on any new dramas next year. We can use this time to hold our wedding." Jin Yining held Shang Ning's hand. "This year has been a bit busy, but next year will be much better."
Shang Ning didn't believe this. The announcements came out of nowhere, and Sister Yang clearly didn't want him to get married so early, so there would only be more announcements next year.
"No wonder so many celebrities get divorced."
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Jin Yining patted her on the forehead, then got up to clear the table. "I'll go for a walk with you in a bit."
What time is your flight?
"It's 3:30 in the morning, no rush." Jin Yining booked the latest flight so he could spend more time with her.
Shang Ning sighed slightly as she watched Jin Yining go to wash the dishes. She had wanted to go with him, but to surprise him, she decided to go by herself.
After Jin Yining finished washing the dishes, she took Shang Ning for a walk on the playground. It was still during class time, so there weren't many people on the playground.
"I wonder when the sky will clear up completely." Shang Ning looked up at the sky. The sun and moon didn't need the sun to shine together, but the sky felt oppressive.
"That's about it." Jin Yining held her hand and walked with her. "I had someone investigate that professor from the history department. There shouldn't be any problems."
"What's their reason for doing this?" Shang Ning asked, looking at Jin Yining. "Even if they know my parents are still alive, who can they threaten? Do they dare to reveal that I am Shang Ning to the public?"
Jin Yining shook her head slightly, "Don't worry too much, it might just be for the money."
In this world, the easiest things to solve are the things that money can solve.
