Shang Ning entered Yang Fei's office, and Yang Fei threw the documents on the table. "Tell me, what kind of trouble have you caused this time?"
"What trouble could I possibly cause? Jin Yining came over, so I just stopped by to see you."
"No, I'll make you look down on me." Yang Fei sat down across from the desk.
Shang Ning clicked her tongue and leaned over in front of her desk. "Jin Yining is going to join a film crew. What kind of film crew is it?"
"What, didn't your teacher Jin tell you?" Yang Fei really didn't believe it. With Jin Yining's personality, what wouldn't he tell Shang Ning?
"I did say it's a legal drama, but Mr. Jin didn't say who he's working with."
"Go see for yourself. Your teacher Jin isn't taking you to the film set."
"To be honest, I have to go out of town for more than half a year, so..." Shang Ning looked at Yang Fei with a smile, "President Yang."
"You even managed to steal Qin Wei's man, so why are you afraid of women?"
"This proves that Jin Yining likes women, but I'm really not afraid of men," Shang Ning said bluntly. "What if someone manages to seduce our Teacher Jin while I'm not around?"
"If you're so scared, why don't you stay and keep watch?"
Shang Ning reached out and pulled over a stool: "Then I can't just revolve around him for the rest of my life. Liking someone isn't about depending on them, but about becoming a better person because of liking them. Of course, even a saint can't avoid being jealous."
This is one of the reasons why Yang Fei likes Shang Ning: he can clearly explain what he wants and also openly admit what he is afraid of.
"The actress who co-stars with me is great; she rarely has any scandals, and I bet she's on the trending topics list more often than you have."
Shang Ning: "..."
I feel like I've been subtly insulted.
Yang Fei looked at her meaningfully. After all, she was a woman who had topped the charts multiple times. She was truly born with a knack for trending on social media.
"By the way, are you really not planning to enter the entertainment industry? You could become Jin Yining's go-to leading lady in the future."
"Don't you get tired of watching the two of them act all the time?" Shang Ning hadn't thought about that. Her priority was to get the experiment sorted out first, and then she would think about what she should do.
However, hearing Yang Fei's words reassured her somewhat.
He reached out and fiddled with the photo frame on Yang Fei's desk. It was a picture of Yang Fei's daughter, who had just started high school this year. It was said that she and Yang Fei didn't get along very well.
She only contacts her mother to ask for Jin Yining's photos.
"Don't you know what kind of person Jin Yining is? I feel sorry for him for being so jealous." Yang Fei said, getting up to pour her some water and placing it in front of her. "You're worried about him and can't let go of your own affairs. You're being a bit too selfish."
Shang Ning rested her chin on her hand as she watched Yang Fei sit down. "I want them all."
Yang Fei scoffed, "You're dreaming! Why don't you just fly to the moon?"
Shang Ning thought for a moment, realizing that they had already been there before and that it wasn't very fun in the air, "So, should Maodou go with us again this time?"
"Otherwise what? You don't trust Maodou either?"
"No, not at all. In Maodou's eyes, I think Jin Yining is not as good as Yang Wen. What do I have to worry about?"
Yang Fei: "..."
Okay, Teacher Qin's assistant has outshone Teacher Jin.
"It's nothing, I just came over to vent to you, I didn't think much of it," Shang Ning said, glancing at the time. "I'm going to check out Teacher Jin's interview."
