The dimly lit study was filled with an eerie atmosphere. Ning Sang's wound on her arm was festering again and was still being treated.
"Are you crazy?" Ning Sang looked up at the person in front of her, who stood ramrod straight with his hands behind his back. "Are you sure?"

Ning Sang wondered how that little girl, who never stopped chattering, had gone mad.

Qin Wei straightened up, squatted down, and looked at Shang Ning. "What kind of book do you want? Brother Qin will buy it for you, okay?"
"No, I have an older brother." Shang Ning refused directly. "Mom said I can't just take things from other people."
"Brother Qin and your brother are good friends, how can he be considered someone else?"
"Old Qin," Jin Yining said with a warning, "don't think you can fool my kid just because he's not smart enough."
Shang Ning blinked and looked at Jin Yining. Jin Yining pushed her to get up, then stood up and pulled her up, picking up the book from the ground with one hand. "Mom is right, we can't just take things from other people. Brother will buy them for us."
Qin Wei clicked his tongue. "So stingy. You think you can steal his wife away?"
Jin Yining was fine; he took Shang Ning to pay the bill and then left.
Qin Wei raised his hand and tugged at the tip of his nose. This time, he didn't follow. He only needed to see this kind of silly thing once; if he saw it too many times, he was afraid he would become silly too.
Jin Yining no longer cared about trending on social media. She led Shang Ning out of the bookstore, and when fans surrounded them, she helped Shang Ning into the car before getting in herself.
"So many people." Shang Ning peered out the car window at the crowd outside.
After Jin Yining closed the door, he brought the person back and had the driver drive away.
"Brother, why are there so many people?" Shang Ning looked confused, but if you don't understand, you should ask.
The driver glanced back, his mind filled with questions, but they couldn't ask too many questions about their boss.
"Because Ningning is pretty."
The little girl was even happier after being praised for her beauty.
"Young Master, Madam said you should go home this afternoon." The driver was from the Jin family; his own driver had already gone home for the New Year.
