Jin Yining didn't doubt that Xia Tian or Qin Wei had made a mistake; he was just curious about who would rob his house. His house only had valuable renovations and property management fees; there really wasn't anything else of value.
"Don't rush, tell me slowly." Jin Yining gestured for her to sit down and went to pour her some water. "Tell me what happened slowly."
Shang Ning told Jin Yining about asking Xia Tian to go to her house to get something. As for what it was, she glossed over it in one sentence, but Xia Tian did see a person's foot in the study, there was no mistake about that.
When Shang Ning spoke, Jin Yining turned on the home surveillance system. From this morning until an hour ago, no one except Xia Tian had entered the house.
Shang Ning: "..."
"Impossible, Xia Tian wouldn't be mistaken." Shang Ning stared at the surveillance footage in shock. It really was only Xia Tian. How could this be?
“Someone went in.” Jin Yining’s eyes deepened. He pressed a few keys on the keyboard and saw a human figure illuminated by ultraviolet light.
Shang Ning moved her lips and looked at Jin Yining. What the hell is this?
"A special anti-surveillance material that can prevent being detected by surveillance cameras, but not by human vision. In other words, he can't be seen in the surveillance footage, but he can be seen on-site in the summer. Otherwise, he wouldn't have hidden after going in in the summer."
Shang Ning: "What kind of incredible invention is this?"
"It's not exactly heaven-defying, it's just a special material that reflects ultraviolet rays. However, this material is difficult to extract, and even I don't have much of it. Who has the ability to make such an invisibility cloak?" Jin Yining said, locking onto the humanoid figure and sending the information to Chen Dongyang, asking him to investigate this person.
"They went there specifically for you?"
"They're probably after the port." Jin Yining sent the message and then looked at Shang Ning. "You can't hide the fact that you got the port."
Shang Ning: "So this isn't anything good after all."
Jin Yining chuckled softly, "What kind of good thing do you think something can be that can control global news at any time?"
Shang Ning raised her hand and touched the tip of her nose, feeling like she had been tricked.
"So what do we do now?" Shang Ning asked. "Won't this implicate you?"
"Not for now. These people won't dare to come openly. If they did, I could justifiably wipe them out, so there's no need to worry for now." All they need is a reason.
Shang Ning raised her hand and patted her chest, thank goodness. "But this is too dangerous, isn't it? Isn't this like carrying a bomb?"
"Don't worry, it's unlikely to explode. Let's wait and see what happens. We need to find out what these people are doing first," Jin Yining said, looking at Shang Ning. "What did you ask Xia Tian to find?"
Upon hearing this, Shang Ning's eyes darted around. "It's nothing, just some materials I need are on a USB drive. I asked her to send them to me, so I won't go back to get them."
Jin Yining noticed that the person's eyes were clearly not right, but he didn't expose her. Shang Ning was definitely hiding something from him. Since she wouldn't say it, he would wait for the day she would.
Chen Dongyang quickly sent the message: the person matched was an Italian, nothing special, just an engineer. Of course, these were all superficial things.
Jin Yining looked at the message Chen Dongyang sent and then showed it to Shang Ning. "He's probably just here to check things out. There shouldn't be any major problems."
"I have a feeling that something is wrong." Shang Ning's sixth sense told her that something was definitely going on, but she couldn't figure out what it was.
