Irene dropped Snape off at the station and left. Lily would take a while to come, so Snape went into the station first and sat on the suitcase waiting.
Logically, he should have said goodbye to Lily's parents outside, but he didn't like socializing and it made him very tired, so he chose to wait inside the station.
Peacock did not force Snape. Everyone has their own way of communicating, and not everyone needs to be lively and cheerful to be liked by everyone.
Why force people who don’t like socializing to socialize instead of asking those who like socializing to be quieter and telling them that maybe not that many people like to listen to them talk.
But Peacock forced Snape to hold two bouquets of flowers, which were the start-of-school bouquets she gave to Snape and Lily to celebrate their entry into the magic school and their official becoming of a little wizard.
Interpersonal communication is not necessary, but freshness in life is necessary.
Peacock took this day very seriously, which made Snape a little conspicuous.
Of course it's not just because of the flowers in his arms, but also because he is dressed a little formally. Although Peacock said that this outfit is exquisite without losing its nobility, elegant without losing its casualness, it has the style of the wizarding world and the trend of the Muggle world. It is a good outfit for the start of school.
But Snape just wanted Lily to arrive quickly so he could get on the train and put on his Hogwarts uniform.
"Country dog." Peacock ignored Snape and listened to the exclamations of the people around him with complacency.
Several people wanted to approach and strike up a conversation, but were scared away by Snape's gloomy face and contemptuous eyes.
On the first day of school, Sifu established his image as someone who is not to be trifled with.
Fortunately, Lily came soon. There were some water stains on her collar, and it was obvious that Mrs. Evans was hugging her and crying.
"Lily, this is for you. Peacock said he wishes you a smooth start to school." Snape gave the flowers to Lily.
"Wow! What beautiful flowers! Peacock is really the cutest and most beautiful girl I know! I really want to meet her and express my love for her in person!" Lily's eyes lit up when she received the flowers. She took them happily and kept praising Peacock.
This is the emotional value that Peacock wants, while Snape will say that this thing takes up space and is useless.
"A country dog with no interest in life." Peacock commented sharply.
The two of them entered the train together, found a compartment to put their luggage, and then Snape changed his clothes.
He actually didn't care what he wore. Under Peacock's education, he had changed from "men's clothing" to just being clean, tidy and decent. He didn't have any beauty shame. He would wear whatever Peacock changed into. He just felt that the looks from other people were annoying, and that those clothes needed to be matched, which was very troublesome. It was simpler to wear a black robe that was suitable for various occasions and very comfortable.
"Petunia was sad she didn't get to see you," Lily said.
Snape said, "If she's upset about this, she'll be upset about a lot more later."
Lily: “…”
It felt like Snape had turned on a huge switch ever since they heard him being sarcastic to others last time.
Peacock twisted Snape again, trying to turn off the switch he had turned on.
Lily skipped the topic: "What college do you think we will enter?"
If it were the old Snape, he would definitely mention Slytherin, and Irene would always praise Slytherin when talking about Hogwarts.
But after learning that the professors and courses at Hogwarts were actually the same, Snape no longer believed what Irene said. There were no excellent colleges, only excellent students, and he was sure that his college would shine because of him.
but……
"My mother is a Slytherin graduate, so I might be a Slytherin too." Since all houses are the same, why not choose Eileen's?
Although she was not a qualified mother, he still remembered her tenderness.
"Slytherin?" As soon as Sirius arrived at the station, he left his family and pulled James onto the train. He pushed open a carriage and heard Snape say that he was going to Slytherin.
James opened his voice and said, "Who wants to go to Slytherin? If I were in, I would definitely leave. What about you?"
Sirius echoed, "My whole family is Slytherin. Looks like I have to break tradition. Which house are you going to?"
The two of them sat down and talked to themselves.
"Of course it's Gryffindor. There's bravery buried deep down there, just like my father," said James.
Snape sneered. "Then I sincerely hope you get into Slytherin, Mr. Tumbleweed with glasses."
James said he would definitely leave Slytherin if he joined, so I wish him the best of luck.
Lily covered her mouth to prevent herself from laughing out loud. What an apt, mean, and darkly humorous description.
James's hair looked like a big ball of tumbleweed. After his last perm failed, the barber blamed it on the fact that his hair was too short to be permed. So he kept his hair for a few months and got it permed again before school started. Then he had a volume of hair that his mother could never dream of.
Because it was permed with magic and magic potions, other magic was ineffective. He had to either shave it off or wait for the effects of the potions and magic to wear off. Then he had no choice but to go to school with this tumbleweed hairstyle again.
But seeing how angry he was, Snape must have hit a sore spot.
For James and Sirius, this was truly a collision of new and old grudges.
Seeing that they were as angry as a blower and were about to roll up their sleeves to beat someone up, Lily looked at her own body, then at Snape's body, and decided to pull Snape away first.
