Chapter 26 Going Out to Play

However, Regulus is not an easy person to deal with, so there is no need to worry too much.

Regulus knew Snape. His brother Sirius communicated with James using a two-way mirror after the holidays, and many of the topics revolved around Snape and a girl named Lily.

Lucius took the two children to Hogsmeade to play. Snape looked at Lucius who was trying to ease the atmosphere and said: "Malfoy, are you free?"

Lucius: "...Please, let me play with you for a while."

He's about to graduate, and what awaits him next is not only a wedding but also...

That adult.

He was a little upset. The Death Eaters were powerful now and those in power were rational, but as the child of that adult's friend, he was closer to them and had a hunch, a hunch that a storm was about to come.

Lucius was the happiest among the three. Regulus looked at Lucius walking in front of him and asked Snape, "I'm going to buy some drinks. What would you like?"

"Cider, thank you." The cider Snape was talking about was not real wine, but a kind of juice.

Lucius thanked Regulus for the drink and went to a store to choose suitable gifts for Narcissa and his parents. Snape was responsible for buying the items that Peacock liked, as well as buying some things he liked.

Looking at the things in the basket that were obviously girls' favorites, Regulus was curious but didn't ask any further questions. Lucius, on the other hand, came over with a mischievous smile and said, "I took it without hesitation. Luckily, Cissy wasn't here, otherwise she would have scolded me for hesitating for so long to buy something she liked and that I didn't understand her preferences."

Snape rolled his eyes at Lucius and said, "If you know, go and find out instead of sitting here sifting through my basket and trying to clone the contents for Ms. Black."

Do you buy things without any hesitation and just assume that Peacock will like them?

Of course she likes it. How could she not like it when she chose it herself?

"Siv, I want a box of that purple crystal!"

Snape placed the box of amethysts in the basket.

"And that peridot, ask if it's still in stock. I like it."

Snape went to ask the store manager, then took out a small box. He asked the store manager to calculate the price and stuffed it into the bag with the Invisible Extension Charm.

"I'll tie it as a thank you to that girl for making the dress for Sissy."

"She said it was a wedding gift for you." Snape pushed Lucius's face away and paid for it himself.

Snape also found an owl shop and sent peacocks and gifts he bought to Lily and Petunia.

"This is for you." Snape gave Regulus the pendant on his bag. It was a cool electric guitar pendant with a black background and red patterns, which matched Snape's casual outfit today.

Peacock noticed that Regulus looked at it several times, and after asking Snape's opinion, he asked him to give it to Regulus.

"Ah, thank you!" Regulus accepted it with some surprise: "I will keep it well."

"A return gift of a drink." Snape didn't care.

When weary birds return to their nests, they also returned to their respective homes. Sirius stayed in his room all day. When he heard Regulus, who had gone out with Lucius, come back, he looked over and asked casually, "Where did you go? Did you have fun?"

"Hogsmeade, it's very happy. Here's my brother." Regulus was relieved that his brother didn't quarrel with his mother today.

"I won't be happy in this house. Wait, what are you holding in your hand, a guitar pendant? This doesn't look like something from Hogsmeade." Sirius noticed the thing hanging on Regulus's little finger.

"It's a gift from a friend introduced by Lucius. I'll go back to my room first, brother." Regulus pushed open the door of his room and went in.

Sirius was stunned for a moment, and felt that he seemed to have guessed the owner of the pendant.

"Are you trying to get close to your pure-blood family? Do you really think this is a good place? Half-bloods are considered inferior and a sin here, haha." Sirius slammed the door shut.
