The room was quickly decorated. The color on Snape's side was changed to light green, like a vast grassland, while the color on Regulus' side was forest green, like a lush forest. The two sides were harmonious and did not interfere with each other.
Snape actually preferred the colors on Regulus' side.
Behind the bedroom door hung a small wooden sign made by Regulus himself, engraved with the words—
Severus and Regulus' lakeside cabin.
He also specially painted a circle of small flowers for decoration. Looking at Regulus's expectant eyes, Snape waved his hand, and a circle of really beautiful wild flowers that could not be named grew on it.
Lucius came once under Snape's sharp eyes. He looked at the decoration of Regulus's room, warmly hugged Regulus and asked him if he could change dormitories with him.
Then he was politely asked to leave by Regulus.
After school started, Snape was different from those students who were still immersed in the holidays a week after school started. His life quickly got back on track and was very peaceful. He liked it very much, but his roommate was not so peaceful.
Regulus came back with his head dripping wet. He carefully avoided the carpet and went to the bathroom to wash up. He had quarreled with his brother Sirius again. Sometimes he knew that he should give in a little, or go along with what he said, so that at least he would not be in his current state, but he couldn't do it.
Things ended up getting to the point where they were casting spells on each other, and he was young and had never fought before.
Moreover, there were four people on Sirius' side. Although they would not cast spells on him, they would help Sirius remove the spells. He was not as good as them in controlling the spells, and he had no power to fight back when he was outnumbered.
"In this case, I have to say that Senior Snape is really amazing. He fought one against four and won a great victory." Regulus came out after wiping his head and saw that Snape had returned. He also helped him repair the book and clean up the water stains on the ground.
"Sorry, Senior Snape, I'm sorry to bother you. I wanted to clean up after taking a shower." Regulus felt a little apologetic. He had caused trouble for Snape.
"It's okay." Seeing that Regulus had no intention of saying anything, Snape changed his clothes and went out.
Today Lily asked him to study by the Black Lake. Since they were not from the same college, it was quite difficult for them to get together. Not only did their courses conflict, but they also had things they wanted to do in their free time. When they occasionally got together, Snape would be careful not to be late.
Before studying, Lily talked about what had happened recently, complained about the course, and grumbled about the annoying boys in the class: "The Quidditch tryouts are over. That Potter is a Chaser. You don't know how he shows off. He's really annoying."
Lily knew that James was pursuing her. She was a beautiful and self-aware girl who had been popular since childhood. It was impossible for her not to know James's intentions since he expressed his attitude directly. But she guaranteed that if James only ruffled his hair until it looked as messy as if he had just gotten off a flying broomstick, he would never be able to pursue her in his life.
Only a fool would think that's cool.
Speaking of hair, Lily showed Snape her new hairstyle.
"My Hufflepuff friend cut my hair. It's beautiful, isn't it!" Lily shook her red hair and showed it to Snape.
Students below the third year at Hogwarts are not allowed to go to Hogsmeade on weekends, and have no other holidays except Christmas and official holidays.
Then many students have short hair when they come in, and have semi-long hair when they go home. If you are a student with good haircutting skills, congratulations, you can at least gain the friendship of half of the school.
At Hogwarts, this role is usually played by Hufflepuff students. Although some of them have difficulty in learning, they are good at a wide variety of things, and six out of ten of them are masters of handicrafts.
Lily's hair was cut by Little Badger.
Snape stared at it intently for a moment. "It's shorter, and the top fork is gone."
"Oh, there's more." Lily reminded.
Snape looked at it for a moment longer and said, "She didn't cut it straight for you."
He had noticed it from the beginning, but he hadn't wanted to tell Lily because he was afraid she would be sad.
Peacock couldn't bear it any longer and tugged at Snape's cheek. "This is the design. The V-shaped hair ends will make it look more layered and lively if it's loose."
Lily helplessly explained to Snape that this was part of the hairstyle design, using the same words as Peacock.
"Don't you think she's very smart and lively?" Lily's head swayed from side to side again, and her naturally curly red hair bounced around.
"You are naturally smart and lively," Snape said truthfully.
Lily blushed: "Okay..."
James Potter, who was peeping from behind the tree, patted Sirius on the shoulder and said, "Snape said something that made Lily's face turn red."
Lupin and Peter who were sitting nearby: ...
Does it have to be so sneaky?
Sirius: ...
Do you think I have a keen ear?
Lily chatted with Snape for a while and then started studying. Studying with Snape would be very efficient, but of course if you want to slack off, you will do so at your own risk.
Two hours later, Lily stood up and stretched out a bit. Her friend came over and asked her if she had finished studying and wanted to invite her out to play.
"Does Sevilla want to come with us?" Lily asked her friends and then invited Snape to go with them. They wanted to go to Hagrid's hut. He was very friendly and the children liked him very much.
"No, I want to go back to the dormitory." Snape refused.
"Okay, ah, right." Lily leaned over to Snape's ear and whispered for a while. When she saw Snape nod, she waved her hand and left.
Lily told Snape that she had heard that Sirius bullied Regulus, and told him to try to care about Regulus.
