Akutagawa and Luo Li walked home through the dark alley. As they were walking, Akutagawa suddenly thought of an interesting difference: "Luo Li had two different attitudes towards the boy in black and Chuuya."
"Well, because I don't like that kid. He scares me." Luo Li admitted her double standard. She just didn't like the kid who appeared alone at the gunfight scene.
Akutagawa wondered if the boy had any special abilities, which frightened Luo Li.
"It's not his ability that scares me, but his heart. His heart is probably darker than the sewers of Yokohama. Ryunosuke, stay away from him." Luo Li couldn't help rubbing her arms as she thought about the child's heart she felt.
Akutagawa nodded and said nothing more.
Luo Li waited for a while, and finally she couldn't hold it in any longer: "Aren't you going to ask me why?"
"Luo Li asked me to do this, so you must have your reasons."
The good news is that Akutagawa is obedient. The bad news is that he is a little too obedient.
"Although I'm very happy about your trust, can you please ask me something? I've already prepared the answers. This makes me feel a little uncomfortable." Luo Li felt that it was not good for people to have too little curiosity.
Akutagawa thought for a moment, then asked, "I thought you would want to save a child like that."
"It's still super weird." Luo Li sighed:
"I'm not yet able to love everyone equally, even those kind and righteous people, those who desperately try to save themselves in difficult situations, those who face injustice but still don't hurt others...
I can't save all of these people, so how can I have the ability to save someone who knows the darkness but still chooses to step into it?
I can’t redeem everyone equally.”
Luo Li touched Akutagawa's head and said, "Perhaps those dark things may seem exciting and interesting to you, but once you are infected by them, they will be like contagious maggots on the tarsal bones. They will not only drag you into the abyss, but also take away your family and friends who want to save you. Ryunosuke, don't touch those things."
"I understand." Akutagawa agreed.
Luo Li's appearance saved his sister and his friend, cured his illness, and gave him a chance to change his life. It was just a small request, why wouldn't he agree?
Akutagawa thought to himself that he would definitely meet that child again, because there was a sadness in Luo Li's eyes that she herself didn't even notice.
She was in pain. How could such a young child be exposed to such thick darkness?
As long as the child does not give up the pursuit of his transformed image, the darkness and pain in him will sooner or later touch the kind fairy.
Yokohama now seems like a pool of thick black mud that can swallow even light, dragging everyone into the mud, suffocating you, forcing you to open your mouth for help, waiting for the black mud to pour in from your mouth that is crying out for help, squeezing the gaps in your internal organs until the red heart is squeezed and replaced by a ball of wriggling black mud. After this process is over, those people appear again, their appearance has not changed at all, except that they can now take root in the black mud and walk.
However, before Akutagawa felt the darkness of the maggot on the tarsal bone, he first felt a child that he could not get rid of.
As soon as Akutagawa arrived home, he was greeted by his companions, who told him that there was a problem at home.
Akutagawa and Luo Li fell silent for a moment as they looked at the white-haired child sleeping soundly on the mat at the door with his hands and feet tied.
This child was the one Akutagawa met when he was doing a mission on the dark web for the first time. Of course, he was not the target of the mission. He just picked him up on the way. Because it was too close to the mafia's area, Akutagawa took him along with him, dropped him off in a safe place and left.
The kid then found his temporary home in the slums.
Because he was too young, it was inconvenient for Luo Li to erase his memory. This kind of magic was actually quite complicated, but it would be simpler to use on adults. The younger or older the child, the more complicated it would be.
Poor control can easily lead to memory confusion.
Akutagawa even found the orphanage the child belonged to based on the clothes on the child, threw the child back, and changed the location of the slum. However, half a year later, the child was lying at the door of his house and was tied up by his companions.
"Do you want to kill him?" Rin asked Akutagawa.
If his current life wasn't too stable and he didn't want to disrupt it, and if it weren't for the fact that it was inconvenient to dispose of the body in such a small apartment, this sudden intruder might not have waited for Akutagawa to return.
"You guys go and rest, I'll ask." Akutagawa asked them to go and rest.
Although they were reluctant, they still obeyed their leader and reluctantly returned to the room.
Only Gin looked back at Ryunosuke.
Ryunosuke smiled softly at his sister, "It's okay, go and rest."
After his sister entered the room, Akutagawa looked at the boy expressionlessly, releasing a little murderous intent, and the child woke up from his dream.
"Why are you at my door?"
When Nakajima Atsushi woke up, he saw Akutagawa with an expressionless face. His first thought was: He looks like the lop-eared rabbits raised in an orphanage, even his expressionless face is similar.
Akutagawa frowned and looked down at Nakajima Atsushi: "Answer my question."
"I, I don't know either, it's just that you saved me..." Nakajima Atsushi didn't know why he came here. He ran away from the orphanage because he was not welcome there.
In the orphanage, the places he spent most of his time in were the dark basement and the deserted library.
So he ran out, and later found out that he was an incompetent waste. He could do nothing after leaving the library, and it seemed that he had entered some dangerous place. Just when he was about to go back in shame, Akutagawa appeared, gave him a piece of bread, and put him in a safe place.
