Snape did not rest when he returned home, but continued his research on unicorn developmental disorder.
Then came Lucius's wedding. He would listen to Lucius ramble on about his nervousness, and then he would start crying while talking. He would wipe his tears and pull Snape's sleeve:
"Xixi is going to marry me. I will swear to be good to her. Nothing can separate us. I have already chosen a name for our child..."
Snape would pull back his sleeves indifferently and respond with a few casual "hmm," which even Peacock wouldn't want to hear.
She blessed him very much the first time, and she also blessed him the second time, but Lucius had said it more than ten times in three days. He was like a goldfish. He would forget what he had just said, and then say it again over and over again. Now Peacock was a little impatient.
"Sev, you know..."
"I don't know." Snape was very indifferent.
Lucius: ...
After confirming for the third time that there would be no accidents with Narcissa's wedding dress, the wedding finally began.
Narcissa's entire makeup was done by Peacock. Peacock printed the magic in advance, and then Snape performed it.
"Is she really not coming to my wedding?" Narcissa prepared a gift for Peacock.
"Sorry." Peacock was right next to him, but she couldn't show herself. Her body was cursed and even the growth potion couldn't cure it.
Unless there is a rule that can override the curse, the only way to restore the peacock to its original size is to lift the curse and make it invalid.
Many people came to the wedding, and Snape also saw Sirius and James. They obviously saw Snape as well and secretly made faces at him.
Snape ignored them.
He sat there with a house-elf who had been sent by Lucius to look after him, as he was worried that Snape might feel uncomfortable.
After a while, Regulus came over. He greeted Snape and was called away.
The one getting married was his cousin, but they were so busy that they didn't sit down until the wedding officially started.
"Where's Lily, is she okay?" James sat down and asked.
"Very good. She said it would be better if no one kept harassing her with owls." Snape said coldly.
James harasses Lily with an owl: ...
Snape also saw Bella, the Bella who had joined the Death Eaters. She sat there, watching everything arrogantly, and only became gentler when she saw Narcissa come out.
She watched with pride as her sister dazzled the crowd.
Narcissa, wearing a peacock dress, held hands with Lucius, who was wearing a white suit, like an arrogant green peacock.
Peacock held the mirror and looked at this happy moment. Weddings, this fairyland was still quite unfamiliar to him.
Narcissa was on her way to happiness.
"Sev will also be happy in the future." Peacock landed on Snape's shoulder.
"I will try my best." I will try my best to make myself happy.
Snape wanted to say to Peacock, "You must be happy in the future," but he looked at Peacock and fell silent again. She was already happy and there was no need for him to say anything more.
In this happy scene, an uninvited guest came.
There was silence at the scene.
No one expected that person to come.
Lucius wanted to curse, how could you come here halfway? You want to steal the bride?
It wasn't a case of marriage robbery, but his arrival was undoubtedly an honor for them. Lucius was glad that he was tactful and had always had a vacant seat for Voldemort.
Voldemort even said a few polite words for being late for the wedding, but some of the people below were already shaking with fear.
He then gave his wedding gift to Lucius and Narcissa.
A diary that the two of them studied for a long time in their room but still couldn't figure out how to use.
"Is it to remind me to write a work diary?" Lucius guessed.
Narcissa patted Lucius and told him to stop playing tricks.
It's probably some cursed item.
They stored it well.
Snape no longer remembered what was said at the banquet. He was always impatient with such scenes and could not negotiate well in such occasions.
He just felt that Voldemort looked familiar. He was sure that he had never seen that handsome face before, but it just felt very familiar.
Movements, tone of voice, and inexplicable intuition.
"Gentleman from the tavern," Snape and Peacock said at the same time.
Snape looked at Peacock, wondering how she knew that.
"It's fine if their measurements and head circumference are the same, but I still don't believe they can be so similar that even their wrists are the same thickness!" Peacock measured the mysterious man in the tavern because he had a really good figure and was perfect for modeling. The result was...
Facts have proved that people should not be too extravagant. If you just change your appearance and go out, you will be recognized.
The scenes on TV where people become unrecognizable after changing clothes do not exist in reality. Superman wears glasses made of Kryptonian technology and has changed his personality. Why do you think you can become unrecognizable by using magic to change your appearance!
No matter whether the atmosphere is real or not, it is still very lively. We can't just let Voldemort sit there in the cold, as if we don't welcome him.
However, at the table with Snape's children, most people were silent. The two pure-blood children obviously admired Voldemort very much. They talked excitedly, and Regulus echoed from time to time. Snape, Sirius and James were all silent.
Peacock could also notice the worried looks that Sirius' parents were giving them on the other side. If it wasn't difficult to move around, they seemed to want to have the house-elves kidnap Sirius.
