Snape didn't prepare any gifts. He searched Peacock's space and took out a diamond-shaped glass with runes engraved on it for Sirius.
"Give me a gift."
Sirius didn't choose the rune, and couldn't understand the meaning of the text and asked, "What does this do?"
"Calm down and concentrate." Snape had been practicing recently and had done a lot. Lily received some of it. Riddle, who knew that Snape was making alchemical jewelry, took some more and sent Snape a lot of expensive gems as carriers of runes.
Sirius put it away. "Okay, thanks. Would you like a butterbeer?"
"No drinking." Snape refused.
"This is not wine. It has almost no alcohol content and tastes like butter candy that is not too sweet. Okay, buddy, have a glass and try it." Sirius strongly recommended Snape to try it.
Considering that Sirius was the birthday boy today, Snape still took it.
Regulus came over with a drink and looked at Sirius, who everyone was talking about, and said to Snape, "He's not so annoying sometimes."
Regulus still remembered that when they were children, they used to care for each other and play around freely, just like real brothers.
He wasn't actually surprised to see his brother betray the family. He always knew that Sirius longed for freedom. He hated the dark house, the cold father, the hysterical mother, and he also hated himself for trying to ease their relationship.
He didn't want his brother to leave home. The consequences of leaving the family were serious and would hurt both him and the family. But looking at Sirius who was so happy, Regulus felt conflicted.
Snape didn't say anything, just listened quietly. He knew that Regulus didn't need his reply.
"But it's really great to have you here, senior." Regulus looked at Snape, and his tangled heart gradually calmed down.
"Senior is really strange. I mean strange in a good way. As long as I see you, no matter how bad my mood is, it will slowly calm down." Even the soul calmed down and felt cool, like the breeze in the autumn evening, slightly cool, but not cold.
"Well, let's draw a tube of blood that day to see if there is anything special." Snape made a cold joke and laughed at Regulus who kept waving his hands to tell him not to be impulsive.
Regulus realized that Snape was just teasing him, and finally he just said: "Senior is definitely a great liar."
Snape nodded. He also felt that he was quite talented.
He and Regulus sat in a corner of the party drinking butterbeer, and he helped Regulus answer some of his recent study questions, without joining in the fun over there.
Lily came over and chatted for a while but was soon called away. After that, James and the other four came over one after another. Since they had called Snape and Regulus, they had no intention of leaving them out in the cold.
But the other Gryffindor students still kept their distance from them. After all, the current situation had affected the school, and some Gryffindor and Slytherin students had already begun to cast curses on each other.
James and Sirius were no exception. They were the first to bear the brunt of the curse. It was a common occurrence for them to curse students they disliked in the corridors. It can be said that they are still very annoying now.
But James and Sirius never tried to attack Snape. Firstly, they couldn't beat him, and secondly, Snape had already been included in their circle, although it was the outermost one.
They didn't have many conflicts to begin with. Apart from the small matter at the beginning of school, the rest was that James liked Lily, and Lily's best friend was Snape.
James wanted to target Snape out of jealousy, but he had already realized that their friendship was pure and that Snape might be gay, so the little conflict between them was unilaterally resolved by James.
They hated Slytherin because of the current situation. Hot-blooded teenagers of this age were always prone to forming cliques and self-righteously doing what they thought was right, but they did not hate Snape.
Although he is sharp-tongued and mean, the person liked by the unicorn should not be a bad person.
Perhaps the Sorting Hat had been in disrepair for a long time, and its brain was clogged with dust, so it sorted the students into the wrong house.
Sorting Hat: ...
All in all, their relationship is pretty good at the moment.
Snape took a sip of the butterbeer. It tasted okay. It couldn't be said to be a delicacy, but it was definitely not unpalatable.
Peacock flew around the banquet venue and watched them play games. She and Snape did not celebrate her birthday together because Snape did not like it.
There are so many messy festivals for humans that it seems that every day is important. Peacock originally wanted to celebrate Snape's birthday, but except for when he received the admission notice at the age of eleven, he never looked forward to his birthday.
A huge cake, a great party, an amusement park or anything else would not be as fun as letting him learn magic.
Later, after confirming that Snape was really not interested in birthdays, Peacock would teach Snape an interesting magic every time it was Snape's birthday.
Finally, she was tired of flying, so she poured herself a glass of butterbeer and drank it in space while watching them play.
Most of the people here are from Gryffindor, and Snape can see that Lily is much more popular among her classmates than today's birthday boy, Sirius.
James invited them over to play truth or dare. As for what truth they wanted to hear and who they wanted to play the dare with, it was obvious to everyone.
"If you come up with some boring and vulgar games, I will definitely not attend the next party!" Lily didn't want to come at first, but James invited her female friend, and then her friend invited her, so she didn't want to lose face in front of her friend, so she came.
