Chapter 4 Respect

After returning home and having dinner, Snape simply washed up and entered the parallel world created by Peacock to study magic. If Peacock had not allowed him, he would have wanted to study all day long.

While Snape was studying, Peacock was reading fashion magazines. This poor family obviously couldn't buy her fashion magazines, so Peacock asked Snape to go to the bookstore and she used magic to copy them.

At the same time, she also copied many children's books for Snape to read.

For example: "Economy and Society", "The Crowd", "Criminal Minds"...

Snape: "How do you know this is a must-read for children?"

Peacock: "I've read the children's books, they're so boring. These are for twenty-year-olds, so that's about right. You're almost twenty."

Snape, who is only ten years old now: ...

Where is the horse?

Finally, Snape chose: Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine.

Peacock:……

This doesn't seem childish either.

Not a child but Snape liked it.

"Maybe Sev will become a doctor in the wizarding world!" Peacock fantasized, "Or a potion master!"

Snape did not refute Peacock's statement, he thought it was a good dream.

Another day passed, maybe their wish came true. It was a great day with bright sunshine and a gentle breeze, perfect for a picnic.

The morning plan remained unchanged. When it was time to go out, Peacock changed Snape into a white shirt with a black vest and trousers of the same color. Considering that it would be cold in the afternoon, Peacock matched Snape with a thin gray windbreaker with a good drape. After looking at it for a while, Peacock was still not satisfied, so he added a beautiful feather and diamond brooch to the collar of the windbreaker.

Finally, Peacock put a small hat of the same color as his trench coat on Snape's head and nodded with satisfaction: "Okay, you can go out and play!"

Snape's eyes were dull. After this whole process, he felt as tired as if he had just run three blocks outside.

In fact, hippies are popular recently. Bold, avant-garde and colorful outfits are very popular recently. Peacock has always been at the forefront of fashion, but Snape is holding her back.

After Snape's strong refusal and his request for ordinary clothes that were not women's clothes, Peacock gave up her carefully prepared colorful and super-wow outfit and changed into this foolproof outfit.

Come on, the slogan of this era is that the brighter the better. Snape really has no personality, Peacock complained.

"Sometimes it's fashionable not to follow the crowd," Snape argued.

Peacock nodded and acknowledged his statement: "But wouldn't it be a shame not to try it? You don't have the cost of trial and error."

Of course she knows what fashion is, but why not try something new? If it suits you better than you thought or brings you some freshness and a different feeling for the day, it would be a good result.

People always need a little excitement and freshness.

"No." Snape refused firmly.

"Hmph! Wait until you're over a hundred years old and your face is full of wrinkles before you want to wear brightly colored clothes!" Peacock disliked Snape's unchanging nature. If he didn't wear such beautiful colors while he was young, he would be embarrassed to wear them later.

Snape didn't think that an old man over a hundred years old would like to wear colorful clothes.

When Snape arrived, Lily was already waiting. She was sitting on the grass humming the latest pop music. When she saw Snape coming, she waved excitedly: "Good afternoon, Sev."

"Good afternoon, Lily." Snape sat next to Lily.

Lily didn't ask about Snape's identity. Yesterday, when she returned home, she told him Snape's name. Her sister Petunia and her parents thought about it for a long time but couldn't think of a suitable candidate.

Petunia knew that there was a Snape in Spinner's End. His father was a notorious villain and the son was also gloomy, but this was not the same Snape that Lily knew.

Although he did look a bit gloomy, his elegant clothes made it clear he wasn't from Spinner's End. In the end, they could only think it was a coincidence.

Lily's parents asked her to find out about Snape's identity. Not everyone would feel comfortable letting their daughter play with a stranger. Didn't you see that even though Petunia was so angry yesterday, she still went to pick up Lily.

But Lily didn't ask and treated Snape like a good friend they had known for many years.

She felt that there was no need to ask so clearly about some things. Sif was just a mysterious magician, and his identity was part of his mystery, which was fine.

Lily lay back and said, "Is there really a Hogwarts? Petunia said no."

"Really, there is, but the door of the magic school is not open to Muggles like her." Snape said bluntly.

"So Penny can't go to school?" Lily wanted to go to school with her sister Penny.

Thinking of the rude Muggle girl yesterday, Snape opened his mouth to spit out more harsh words, but Peacock secretly pinched him to shut up.

"Let me teach you how to control your abilities." Snape changed the subject.

"Okay!" Lily quickly forgot her sadness and agreed happily.

Lily was a very smart child and learned very quickly. Until the evening when Penny came to see Lily again, she always had an angry expression and shouted at Lily: "Lily, what are you doing!"

"Penny, I'm just learning to control my abilities." Lily ran down and picked an unopened wild flower to cover it for Penny.

"Then why didn't you take me?" Penny frowned, feeling extremely nervous.

Since you have no magical talent at all, what's the point of bringing you here? You don't even seem worthy enough to be a decoration...
