Chapter 44 Furry

"Let's go." Sif and Peacock sneaked out of the castle and walked towards the Forbidden Forest.

When he heard the wolf howl, Snape was still wondering if there were wolves in the Forbidden Forest. But he didn't care, basically no animals would hurt them.

When he saw the giant wolf flying towards him, Snape used magic immediately. The giant wolf broke free from the two binding spells. Snape launched an attack directly: "God's Edge, Shadowless!"

The giant wolf was pounced on by a black dog as big as a bear, but Snape's spell still brushed past the giant wolf's body and the black dog.

The black dog suppressed the struggling wolf and kept barking at Snape. Then a stag carrying a mouse rushed over, trying to take Snape away.

"Potter, Black, Peter and... Lupin?" Snape didn't move. He recognized their identities.

"Lupin is a werewolf." Snape added two more Tightening Curses, and this time the stronger version could not be broken free: "I really discovered a big secret."

James turned into a human form, his face pale as he begged: "No, Snape! Don't tell anyone!"

"You'd better go to the hospital wing immediately. The wounds caused by this spell cannot be healed, and I haven't thought of a counter-spell yet." Snape saw that if this continued, Lupin and Sirius would bleed to death.

Snape admitted that he had gone a little too far, but after the two magic spells failed to work, he subconsciously used a powerful spell he created, but this spell had not yet been fully researched.

"Will they die?" Peacock said with a serious expression.

"No, with the blood tonic, they can last a long time, and I can develop a counter-spell before dawn." said Snape.

Dumbledore naturally couldn't stand idly by when such a big thing happened. He wanted to talk to Snape, but Snape waved his wand and said, "Are you going to interrupt my research on the counter-spell?"

Dumbledore withdrew.

In fact, Snape was being modest when he said he would develop it by dawn. It only took him half an hour to develop the counter-spell. After all, it was he who developed the Shadowless Divine Sharpness.

Snape chanted the spell, which needed to be chanted three times in a row to work, causing it to sound like singing.

Lupin had been knocked unconscious by the spell, and after curing them, Snape had a conversation with Dumbledore.

"My child, I hope you will keep this a secret," said Dumbledore.

He originally wanted to adopt a harsher attitude and use fear to make Snape keep the secret, but when he thought of the boy who was trusted by the unicorn, the boy who would develop potions for the unicorn, his words finally turned into a request.

"Before you told me to keep it a secret, shouldn't you have explained why there was a werewolf in the school?" Snape ignored Dumbledore's words and went straight to the heart of the matter: "And he was wandering in the Forbidden Forest with Potter and a few other Animaguses."

James and Peter turned pale; they had hurt Lupin.

They shouldn't be roaming around the school using their animagus as a tool.

Lupin was a werewolf, a secret they discovered in their second year, but they accepted Lupin's little furry annoyance and then they began studying Animagus.

Now he, he, Sirius and Peter were all Animagus. They accompanied Lupin through the painful moments of becoming a werewolf, but as if that were not enough, they wanted to wander around the school at night.

After a few successes, they got a little carried away and started playing around the school and the Forbidden Forest. They even wanted to go to Hogsmeade...

As a result, today's event was a complete failure. Not only their night tour failed, but it seemed that Lupin's life was also going to fail.

Snape didn't say anything and let the werewolf enter the campus and wander around in the Forbidden Forest. He might even go to the castle. What about the other ordinary students?

If this matter were to be exposed, it would be a huge scandal for Dumbledore.

A scandal that would cause Dumbledore a lot of trouble at this turbulent time.

Dumbledore looked at Snape's cold attitude and finally told Snape to have a good rest: "Lupin is a very good boy."

Snape said nothing.

After Dumbledore left, Snape looked at the silent Peacock and asked, "Do you also want me to keep it a secret?"

Peacock nodded and then shook his head vigorously: "This is your choice. You are the victim. I can't help you choose."

"Really? You don't look right. I want to know what you really think." Snape continued to ask. He had discovered a long time ago that Peacock was sometimes in a bad state, and now she fell into that state again.

He wanted to know what had gone wrong.

Peacock was silent, and Snape waited.

"Let me tell you a secret." Peacock sat next to Snape's quilt, his voice hoarse.
