Chapter 6: Becoming a Ghost

She, the child who grew up early because of life, returned to her childhood when she relied on her in this accident: "Don't be afraid, Nezuko, mom will raise you again."

Aoi tells Nezuko a story in a soft voice, and through this story she tells the story of an evil spirit who lives at night, feeds on humans, and is afraid of sunlight and wisteria flowers.

Looking at the sleeping Nezuko, Aoi said after finishing the last paragraph: "Nezuko seems to have become that kind of existence."

"There must be a way, there must be a way to make Nezuko recover!" Tanjiro blamed himself very much. If he had not wasted time and came back directly, Nezuko would not have become like this.

Aoi patted Tanjiro, who was immersed in self-blame, and asked him to be quiet and not disturb Nezuko's rest.

"I don't know if there is any way. I heard from my mother-in-law that there is a place called Demon Slayer Corps. Maybe they will have a way, but whether there is a way or not, we will not give up on Nezuko." Aoi's voice was soft but firm.

She also felt so guilty. As a mother, she watched her child become like this. She should have protected the child, but instead she was protected by the child.

"We will raise my sister again." Takeo thought of the scene tonight. Facing the man whose legs became weak with fear at the mere sight of him, it was Nezuko who pulled him behind her.

It was he who was turned into this, and he should be responsible for protecting Nezuko who turned into this.

Tanjiro blames himself, and as the second son in the family, Takeo also blames himself.

Bai Guangying clapped her hands at the atmosphere and said, "Shouldn't that ghost be at fault? Why are you blaming yourself?!"

What are you afraid of with me here? Even if we can't change Nezuko back to her original form for the time being, Tanjiro and I will be able to find that damn thing soon.

Then I broke that guy's teeth and asked him how to change Nezuko back, then I pressed his head down and made him kneel on the ground to apologize to Nezuko, and finally I gave him a wave of Light Mark Century! "

Bai Guangying gritted her teeth in anger. She felt that she was being provoked. That light-fearing monster actually survived under her hands and hurt Nezuko. It was simply unforgivable!

Seeing Bai Guangying's determination, they calmed down.

Tanjiro took a deep breath and said, "Well, we can definitely change Nezuko back."

They silently treated their wounds. Bai Guangying checked and found that there was no serious problem. It was just that they felt a little painful from the fall and had some bruises on their bodies. Bai Guangying transferred some immortal power to them and the bruises disappeared.

Tanjiro advised his family to rest and get enough rest, and tomorrow they would set out to find a way to make Nezuko turn back.

Seeing that they all returned to their beds, Bai Guangying used a sleeping magic to let them sleep peacefully, and then kept watch with Tanjiro who maintained his transformed state.

It was not until dawn that a man wearing two-tone clothes and holding a knife came over to ask for directions.

It's a human.

Tanjiro twitched his nose, identifying the presence in front of him.

"Has anything strange happened here, like a sudden attack by wild beasts?" asked Giyu Tomioka.

His crow is very old and always makes mistakes, so he often has to investigate before taking action.

"...Are you from the Demon Slayer Corps?" Tanjiro had just experienced such a thrilling thing yesterday, and he was not yet so easy to trust the people in front of him.

Tomioka Giyu drew his sword: "Yes, it seems you understand. They are no longer human and can no longer be your family. Please accept my condolences."

He felt the breath of a ghost, but the person in front of him said this, obviously to cover up for the ghost.

Tanjiro took out the Kagura bell and stared at Tomioka Giyu warily: "I won't let you hurt her."
