Nakajima Atsushi looked at Ryunosuke and laughed, "I feel much better now that I've said it. I thought Ryu would hate me. I have so much, but I still only complain about myself."
Although the winter is very cold, he will not freeze to death like the orphans in the slums. He will be hungry, but he will not starve to death. He will be beaten and scolded, but he will not be beaten to death. Compared with Ryunosuke and others, he can be called "happy" in any way.
Ryunosuke did this before, whether it was complaining about having something that others didn't have, or being dissatisfied with the status quo but still refusing to change, but:
"Pain cannot be compared. As long as it makes you feel sad, it is a kind of suffering for you. There is no need to be ashamed of your dissatisfaction, because the constant pursuit of beauty and greater happiness is the instinct of our soul."
Luo Li watched them quietly on the balcony nearby. Ryunosuke had really grown up a lot. The sharp and repressed child had begun to show his gentleness.
Ryunosuke may have been born with some talent in literature. He wrote his first short story when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
Luo Li was the first person besides Ryunosuke to finish reading this work. After reading it, Luo Li sat there in a daze.
"Is my writing bad?" Ryunosuke asked after putting away the draft.
Luo Li clutched her chest and said, "My heart aches."
Looking at Ryunosuke's small eyes, Luo Li smiled and said, "It's well written. I don't understand its literary value, but I can feel your feelings. Go show it to your friends."
Ryunosuke shook his head: "I don't want to."
"Huh?" Luo Li asked in confusion.
“It would be embarrassing.”
Luo Li did not force Ryunosuke to show the article to others, as it would not be kept secret for long anyway.
Now he needed a pen name. Ryunosuke didn't think too much about it. He wrote a name and submitted his article to a magazine with good reputation. He didn't ask about it anymore.
School started, and because Ryunosuke was promoted to junior high school and Nakajima Atsushi was officially enrolled, they had another good meal to celebrate.
Forgive their simple way of celebration. For these children, what is more important than having enough food and clothes?
And their financial situation is not good, because they are a group of children who can barely keep up with the learning progress. Ryunosuke does not let them work, and all the expenses are paid by Ryunosuke taking tasks on the dark web.
He only accepts rescue missions. He doesn't accept time-consuming protection missions or missions that hurt others. This results in him being able to accept very few missions, and these missions are really few, only two or three missions a year. The pay is quite high, but he has too many children in his family.
There are plenty of places to spend money.
Raising a child really makes one want to rob.
On the way to school, I met members of the Sheep Organization. In the past year, Zhongyuan Zhongye really listened to Luo Li's words. The Sheep restrained their previous outrageous behavior, and some older children have started working.
"Long, can't we really go out to work?" Keji looked at him with envy. He also wanted to find a part-time job. Not to mention earning a lot, but it would be good enough to earn enough to buy dinner for his family.
"Let's wait until junior high school, but at least two-thirds of the grades must be excellent." Ryunosuke felt that his requirements were not high.
Yuuji laughed, "Ryu, you'll have to keep Katsumi around for the rest of your life!"
"You guy, shut up and no one will think you are dumb!" Keji picked up his schoolbag and was about to hit Yuuji.
Nakajima Atsushi was trying to stop the fight the first time, but now he is used to it. There is a sharp-tongued trio in the family, Ryu, Shinya and Yuji. Katsumi is often scolded by them, but he has a lot of strength and can't suffer any loss.
Yin and Rin held hands and watched them playfully from behind, laughing.
Shinya didn't dare to say anything, as he would be easily blamed once the topic of grades was brought up. However, Yuuji's grades were very good after he adapted to school life.
"Rin, your grades are not ideal either." Ryunosuke turned around and did not forget to mention Rin. As a girl, because of the inequality between men and women in this society, Ryunosuke always had higher expectations of her.
She needs to be better and stronger to defeat those who are prejudiced against her.
Rin pulled back a smile.
Nakajima Atsushi was already starting to get scared. What if his grades weren't good either?
"Okay, brother, you're going to miss the opening ceremony." Gin pushed Ryunosuke forward.
Seeing Nakajima Atsushi's frightened look, Xinye grabbed his neck and said, "What are you afraid of? Long said it himself. Your grades are good, better than mine, right?"
Nakajima Atsushi nodded, but his worry was still visible in his eyes.
Luo Li sat on Ryunosuke's shoulder and smiled, unable to understand the pain they were going through in their studies.
On the first weekend of school, the magazine called home, and the whole family knew that Ryunosuke had written his first article and it was officially published.
"Dragon, that's awesome!"
The whole family hugged Ryunosuke. Nakajima Atsushi was so happy that he couldn't help but hug Ryunosuke and threw him into the air. Before he could let go, Gin and Yuuji also flew up with him.
Ryunosuke used Rashomon to maintain his balance and caught Gin and Yuji. The family looked at Nakajima Atsushi's claws that suddenly turned into a tiger.
"Dun, can you control your superpowers?" Everyone was surprised for a moment, but then they didn't care.
"Great! Good things come in pairs. Let's celebrate."
"And Long was so outrageous for not telling us!"
"Go out and buy some groceries. We'll make a good meal."
The whole family changed their clothes and shoes and went out happily.
In the fruit area, Ryunosuke took out two boxes of strawberries and put them in. Everyone was used to it. They all knew that they were buying them for the person with the supernatural power that they could not see. When their clothes were on sale, strawberries at 2,000 yen a box were a common fruit.
When the money for the mission arrives, I will buy high-quality strawberries worth more than 10,000 yen, and there are only twelve in a box.
