Chapter 9

He Mo curled his lips and found it a little funny. He had originally thought that there must be no exotic beasts in such a remote place, but he didn't expect that there would be such a little guy. He didn't know if it was an exotic beast with an owner who ran away secretly or a cub that lost its mother.

It wasn't until the second pair of eyes appeared that He Mo truly became interested. How did this man and beast manage to live in such harmony and such a tacit understanding? It looked like their compatibility was over 90 percent. If the alliance knew about this, they would undoubtedly extend an olive branch and actively cultivate them.

The question is, how did these two apparently single little creatures end up in such a remote place?! With such exceptional talent, their family would never abandon them. Could they have gotten lost?

He Mo did not approach them and completed his training on his own. After a period of time, he obviously felt that his body was much better than before. The sequelae of lying in bed for a year gradually disappeared, and his body coordination was also much better.

It won't be long before his physical fitness returns to its original level.

After exhaling the last breath, He Mo deliberately glanced in the direction where the two little guys were hiding, with a slight curve at the corner of his mouth.

The lights in the cabin went out, the moon was at its zenith, the rich energy dissipated, and the plants fell into a deep sleep.

Green Eyes and Black Eyes woke up from the wonderful feeling, looked at each other, and found deep regret and unwillingness in each other's eyes.

Looking back at the cabin reluctantly, the two little guys left, looking back every three steps.

The next night, not long after He Mo started practicing, two sneaky figures approached...

The night was dark, the chirping of unknown insects could be heard on the shore, and a cool breeze blew through the green leaves hidden in the night.

In the darkness, a small wooden house stands out particularly. A dim light shines through the gaps between the wooden boards, making it look particularly warm, cozy and comfortable.

Right in front of the wooden house, a slender figure was sitting on the ground, like the only light in the darkness. Even the stars in the sky were dimmed by the brilliance of this figure.

The big green eyes stared straight at the figure not far ahead, and the saliva flowed until the mouth was wet: "Wow, I'm so greedy, it smells so good, I want to get closer."

"Bang." A merciless slap.

The little figure sprawled in the grass withdrew its tender white paws expressionlessly. This fellow was embarrassing himself by acting so foolishly. Hmm… It smelled nice, but he needed to have some integrity and not be so pathetic.

But what are integrity and ambition? A rare look of doubt appeared on the little guy's fair and tender face.

"Woo~." But it smelled really good. Green Eyes whimpered quietly twice, and its two furry front paws grabbed the strong grass roots and dragged it forward a little bit without leaving a trace... and dragged it a little bit more...

Wanting to get closer, Green Eyes moved forward clumsily, thinking he was being very cautious, but his wagging tail had already exposed him.

The night's training passed quickly. Amidst the sky filled with brilliant energy, He Mo ended his night's training and returned to the cabin.

The door closed gently.

"Woo." A furry thing darted through the grass and soon jumped to the grass closest to where He Mo was practicing.

Abundant energy lingered in the air, and a furry little creature comfortably felt the energy rushing towards it. Its originally docile hairs suddenly rushed out, forming a round furry ball.

"Woo woo~~." The little fellow lay on the grass with his eyes narrowed in happiness, wishing he could roll over and howl to the sky, until a finger poked it, and then poked it again.

Three minutes later...

The corner of the wooden house.

A dark blue puppy and a tender little baby with a frown stood pitifully.

The man and the dog both showed expressions of fearlessness in the face of death, which made He Mo laugh inside, but he did not show it on his face. He looked at them with a serious look.

The little boy looked only three or four years old, with messy black hair and brown eyes. A rag of indeterminate color was tangled around his fair body, barely covering his lower body. He looked like he'd been through a lot, with scratches and scars all over his hands and feet, some of which were stained with red.

The little boy remained remarkably calm, pouting and staring at him with wide eyes. There was a depth in the boy's eyes that he couldn't fathom, hidden beneath his childish exterior. His clear eyes were like a piece of amber, condensed over millions of years.

It looked like he had suffered a lot, even though he was such a young child. He Mo's heart softened instantly.

The little puppy looks like it was weaned not long ago. Its fur is fluffy and its ears are dotted with two spots of snow-white hair, making it very recognizable. Its moist black nose moves slightly from time to time, its black eyes blink, and its little mouth is slightly open, sticking out its pink tongue.

Looks pitiful and cute.

Forget it, let's not tease these two little guys who look like they've been wandering around for a while. They've been stranded here, and who knows how much hardship they've endured. They've come to such a remote place, and even by maglev, it takes two hours to get here. There's no way they could possibly get back to the center.

He Mo gave up the idea of scaring them, and forcefully wrapped them up one in each hand, walked into the house, and after putting hot water in the pot, he placed them directly into the water.

Look at these two dirty ones, especially the little boy, who has many cuts on his body and needs to be treated and bandaged immediately.

At first, the dog and the baby struggled, making the water splash loudly, but after a while, they could only hum comfortably. He Mo squeezed bath mousse onto the two little guys and gently massaged them. Soon the water turned black. He Mo quickly changed the basin of water. Once they adjusted to the temperature, the two little guys already knew how to play in the water. The little puppy even swam happily in the hot water, squinting his eyes and enjoying it very much.

He Mo was a little amused, they were really just children. After washing, He Mo wrapped the two little guys in a large bath towel and put them in the dryer. In a short while, the two little guys were clean. There were no new clothes on hand, so He Mo took out his own childhood clothes and put them on the little boys. The cleaned children were a little dazed, and they were so cute.

Perhaps because they hadn't had a good rest for a long time, the two little guys fell asleep after a while. He Mo put them on the bed gently and was about to leave when he met the little baby's puzzled eyes. He smiled and touched his smooth face: "Go to sleep obediently. I'll take you to see your family tomorrow, okay?"

The soft lights were turned off, and the room was dim.

The little boy lay on the wide bed, looked up at the sky seriously, and pushed his friend who was drooling in his sleep.

The little puppy waved its front legs to the sky and whimpered twice. It was unknown what it dreamed about. Its whiskers on both sides trembled, and then it fell into a deep sleep again.

Good people are so nice.

The little puppy rubbed the quilt unconsciously and fell into a deep sleep.

The little boy didn't get a response for a long time, so he turned his head away in frustration, greedily grasped the soft quilt with his hands, and fell asleep soon.

It feels so comfortable, the little boy smiled.

The next day, just as the sky was beginning to turn pale, the door of the wooden house was gently opened, and the tiny baby, holding his little friend, tiptoed out.

"Woo woo?" The little puppy looked at his little master in confusion. Is he leaving? But he really doesn't want to leave his good master.

"Shh." The little boy covered the puppy's mouth, pursed his lips, and showed a determined look. After closing the door, he ran away and disappeared in the lush grass.

He Mo on the bed sighed, lowered his eyes and turned over.

The night has passed and dawn will soon come.

When He Mo opened his eyes again, it was already bright sunlight outside.

I walked slowly into the kitchen and saw two lively fish struggling on the floor.

Two short figures were squatting on the floor. When they heard the noise, they turned around and looked up at him. He Mo met the clear eyes of the man and the dog. He was stunned for a moment and then suddenly smiled. The little guy still knew to pay the fee.
