After the exam, I went back to class for a short class meeting and then went home.

Li Xiangze booked a bus for 6 p.m. that day.

School ends at 4:40. The bus stop is not far from here, and it takes less than 15 minutes by bus and walking.

He didn't leave in a hurry. He sat down at the desk in the dormitory and took out an exercise book to practice questions.

Xiao Mingyang lay on his bed, looking at his wife quietly.

This year, National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival coincide, so we will have a total of 8 days off.

This was the first time that Xiao Mingyang didn't want to take a holiday. If possible, he just wanted to stay at home for a day and then go find Li Xiangze.

But it doesn't work.

The time of the accident was getting closer and closer. This was the only long vacation this semester, and everyone in the family would return to the old house. This was his only chance.

As if sensing the burning gaze behind him, Li Xiangze turned around and looked at him: "Why don't you leave?"

Xiao Ming, who deliberately asked his father to come late, lied: "My dad is coming to pick me up after the meeting, but it's not time yet."

Li Xiangze nodded, not knowing what to say, and turned back to continue doing the questions.

The room was very quiet; I could hear the sound of suitcases rolling downstairs and the noise of classmates playing.

The phone in my pocket vibrated.

Xiao Mingyang took it out, and Xiao Dayang sent him a message.

【Yang】Are you guys on vacation?

[The Most Handsome Guy in the Universe] Yes, we are about to start our long-distance relationship.

[Yang] How many rewards have you saved now?

[The most handsome guy in the universe] Two.

【Yang】It took so long to save two?!

[The Most Handsome Guy in the Universe] How about it?

【Yang】Tsk.

【Yang】Two is fine, I’ll use one today.

[The most handsome guy in the universe]?

How to use [The Most Handsome Guy in the Universe]?

Xiao Mingyang calculated the time very accurately. When his father came, Li Xiangze was about to leave.

"Together!" Xiao Mingyang grabbed his suitcase.

"I can just take the bus. It's not far." Li Xiangze held the suitcase tightly.

"You're just passing by anyway, so don't be so polite. My dad is still your dad!" Xiao Mingyang said righteously.

Li Xiangze pursed his lips and shook his head: "No."

Xiao Mingyang didn't try to snatch the suitcase from him. Instead, he pulled on his clothes and swayed back and forth: "Brother, just come with me! I beg you! We won't be able to see each other for many days. I want to stay with you for a while longer, okay?"

Li Xiangze couldn't resist his coquettish attack and turned his head to the green belt beside him, his ears red: "Hmm..."

Xiao Mingyang went to get his suitcase with a smile: "Let's go!"

Dad's car is already parked on the side of the road.

When my dad saw them, he got out of the car and waved to them.

Xiao Mingyang jumped up and said, "Dad!"

Li Xiangze followed behind him, and after a long while he finally uttered two words: "Godfather."

Dad smiled, opened the trunk, and let them get in and sit first.

"Aze," Xiao Mingyang sat in the back row with him, "Do you have time on this weekend?"

Li Xiangze didn't even think about it: "Yes."

"Then can I ask you for extra lessons? Online classes." Xiao Mingyang asked.

"What time is it?"

"9pm."

Li Xiangze calculated: "Maybe not today, I won't be there yet at 9 o'clock."

"Then let's start tomorrow."

Dad returned to the cab: "Talking about tutoring?"

"Okay, I'll make it up to you tomorrow night at 9 o'clock." Xiao Mingyang rested his head on the back of the passenger seat.

"Is Xiaoze free at 7 o'clock? Ranran's mother wants her to make up for it during the holiday." Dad started the car.

Li Xiangze thought about it and said, "Is 7 a.m. okay? 7 p.m. is dinner time, and I need to go help."

"Okay, Yangyang, tell your aunt the time." said Dad.

Xiao Mingyang lowered his head and sent the message.

"Ozawa, your mother's restaurant is open from 9 am to 10 pm, right?" Dad suddenly asked.

"yes."

"10 o'clock?!" Xiao Mingyang suddenly looked up at Li Xiangze, "How about I..."

Li Xiangze interrupted: "It's okay, 6:00-8:00 is the peak period, it's not so busy after that time."

Driving is five minutes faster than taking the bus. Xiao Mingyang waited with Li Xiangze in the lobby.

Neither of them spoke, just sitting there quietly.

The time is almost up.

Li Xiangze pursed his lips: "When...will you come?"

Xiao Mingyang was stunned for a moment, then smiled: "You still remember."

Li Xiangze swallowed and tightened his grip on the handlebars: "Yeah."

"In a few days," Xiao Mingyang looked at him, "he will come."

Li Xiangze pursed his lips and said, "When you come, remember to tell me and I'll pick you up."

"Okay." Xiao Mingyang smiled.

Li Xiangze glanced at Xiao Mingyang and then looked away: "Yeah."

The two of them didn't communicate much until it was time to get on the bus.

Li Xiangze stood up: "It's time."

"I'll take you to the car." Xiao Mingyang also stood up.

"No need." Li Xiangze said.

"You're welcome." Xiao Mingyang pulled his suitcase and walked inside.

Li Xiangze looked at his back and followed him.

The smell in the bus was not pleasant, all kinds of smells mixed together and it was stuffy.

Li Xiangze didn't want Xiao Mingyang to go up.

"Just send it here," he said.

Xiao Mingyang helped him put away his suitcase: "Then I won't go up."

Li Xiangze breathed a sigh of relief. He turned around and prepared to get in the car: "See you in a few days."

Xiao Mingyang held him back: "Wait."

Li Xiangze turned around and raised his eyebrows.

Xiao Mingyang looked at him and smiled: "I want a reward."

"what would you like?"

"Give me a hug," Xiao Mingyang swallowed, a little nervous, "Can I?"

Can I have a hug?

Li Xiangze warned himself not to overthink it and bit his lower lip: "Yeah."

Xiao Mingyang pulled him over and hugged him.

He hugged her tightly, as if he wanted to crush her and melt her into his own body.

But Li Xiangze didn't dare. He just held her lightly, his body stiff, not daring to make any unnecessary movements.

Xiao Mingyang sucked on his neck and shoulders like a cat, "Aze, wait for me."

His breath as he spoke touched the skin on Li Xiangze's neck, sending a tingling sensation throughout his body. His movements became stiffer, and he even broke out in sweat on his back.

He wanted to answer, but it took him a long time to find his voice: "Yeah, okay."

"It's almost time to get on the bus." The driver threw the cigarette on the ground, crushed it with his foot and reminded.

Xiao Mingyang rubbed his back and whispered in his ear, "See you tomorrow night then."

Li Xiangze's body trembled. The breath still lingered in his ears, making his ears and heart itch. "Well...goodbye."

Xiao Mingyang took a few more puffs and let him go: "Send me a message when you get home."

"good."

After watching his wife get on the bus and the bus start, Xiao Mingyang left the station.

I feel empty inside.

When he walked out of the station, his father was standing on the side of the road. He handed him an ice cream cone and said, "It's a good thing."

Xiao Mingyang took a big bite, his mouth full of ice cream: "Thank you, Dad!"

"Eat slowly in the car," Dad stroked his hair, "If you're still hungry, have some cookies."

Xiao Mingyang opened the car door and got in: "When are we going back to the old house?"

"Go to the studio to pick up your mother first and drive straight there," said Dad.

"Oh." Xiao Mingyang ate the ice cream happily.

Dinner is served at the old house at 7:30.

Dad parked the car in front of the old house and gave the car keys to the housekeeper, who drove it to the garage.

When I opened the door, Xiao Xiran was sitting on the sofa watching TV. No one else was there.

Greet each of them as they come in.

"Ranran, where are grandpa and the others?" Yan Qi asked.

"Playing chess in the tea room." Xiao Xiran stared intently.

"I'll go call them." Xiao Mingyang said.

My grandfather's lifelong hobby was drinking tea and playing chess, so the tea room was decorated very exquisitely. The calligraphy behind him was written by my grandmother when she was still alive. The four big characters "Diligence can make up for lack of talent" have never been changed.

When he went over, his grandfather and his uncle were playing chess.

My uncle and aunt sat aside, drinking tea and observing the situation.

"Grandpa!" Xiao Mingyang called out.

"Yangyang is here," Grandpa said, smiling so much that his eyes were almost invisible. "Where are your dad and the others?"

Xiao Mingyang greeted his uncle and the others: "We came together and are in the living room."

"Then let's stay here for a while and have dinner." Grandpa stood up.

My uncle stood up with a smile on his face: "You've grown taller, Yangyang."

Xiao Mingyang smiled: "It's okay."

The uncle hugged him and said, "It's up to my nose."

"I plan to grow to 1.92 meters tall." Xiao Mingyang smiled, slipped out from under his uncle's arm, and ran to his grandfather.

He hugged his grandfather and said, "I'm starving!"

The uncle behind him froze in smile, the corners of his mouth slowly dropped, and his expression became somewhat gloomy.

At the dinner table, grandpa was chatting with my parents and uncle about company matters as usual, my uncle and aunt were talking about the script, and Xiao Xiran and Xiao Mingyang were fighting over the food, after all, what was in other people's bowls tasted the best.

Normally, Xiao Mingyang would not pay attention to their conversation at all. He would just eat his food and tease his cousin from time to time.

Today he slowed down his eating and eavesdropped on their conversation.

My uncle and aunt were discussing the plot of the new script. It sounded quite melodramatic, but there was nothing strange about it.

He turned to listen to his grandfather and the others' conversation.

There seems to be some problems in my uncle's company. Grandpa and dad are helping him find a solution. The smile on my uncle's face is as gentle as ever.

There doesn't seem to be any problem.

"Xiao Mingyang, stop poking the rice. You're almost turning it into mud!" Xiao Xiran said with disgust.

"What do you know? This is called glutinous rice cake!" Xiao Mingyang continued to poke hard.

Xiao Xiran's face was full of disdain: "You are kidding me, that's not how glutinous rice cakes are made!"

"That's obviously what I did," Xiao Mingyang teased her with a smile, "Wait until I'm done poking you and you can try it."

"No." Xiao Xiran held his bowl and silently moved away from Xiao Mingyang.

Xiao Mingyang approached him frivolously: "Don't be disgusted."

"Aunt! My brother bullied me!" Xiao Xiran shouted.

The family is no longer surprised.

Before Xiao Xiran was two years old, Xiao Mingyang was the most protective brother in the family. After she was two years old, the brother and sister quarreled every day.

"Aunt, please understand! I invited her to eat rice cakes!" Xiao Mingyang looked innocent.

"Oh my," Mom looked at him and laughed, "You can even say 'Mingjian'!"

Xiao Mingyang: "..."

Xiao Mingyang: "Thank you so much for your compliment!"

Mom looked at him with a smile: "You're welcome, it's my duty."

Xiao Mingyang: "..."

Xiao Mingyang: “…………”

Xiao Mingyang: “………………”

The whole family laughed.
