Chapter 59: What do you want?
Song Jia pulled out a chair for Xu Si'an to sit down, then took a USB drive and walked to the computer.
A notarized will and two paternity test reports appeared on the big screen.
"Uncles and elders, I believe you all know about the mess my family has been making lately."

Xu Si'an was taken aback for a moment: "Where is the shop? I'll go get it."
Aunt Wang sent him an address, and Xu Si'an instructed, "Xiao Song, take a taxi back to the company yourself. The vice president will preside over the meeting this afternoon."
Xu Si'an drove to the dry cleaner to pick up the bracelet, and then went to the mall to change the clasp on the bracelet.

Xu Si'an opened the surveillance camera at the entrance of the small apartment and saw that an hour earlier, someone knocked on Qiao Xu's door and covered her mouth and nose when Qiao's mother opened the door.

Xu Si'an sent a message to Chang Yi, asking him to go to Qiao Xu's house and see if Qiao's mother was there.
What if it's just an illusion?

"He didn't answer the phone either."
The virtual number's text message reply read: "Your fate is intertwined with Qiao Xu's."

She saw the text message she received ten minutes earlier right after finishing work; it contained the same content as the one Xu Si'an had received.
Qiao Xu tried texting and calling, but no one answered.
Xu Si'an saw Qiao Xu run out of the elevator, push open the door and get out of the car. She told Chang Yi to keep in touch and then hung up the phone.
"Sweetie, where do we want to go?"
Qiao Xu grabbed his arm as if it were a lifeline: "A-Si, my mother..."
Her voice trembled, her face was pale, and she gritted her teeth, holding back tears as she handed her the phone.
"Qiaoqiao, go home or wait for me at the company, I'll come."
Qiao Xu shook her head: "They told me to go by myself."
Xu Si'an hesitated for a few seconds, then showed her his text message: "I suspect it was Shen Zhiwei's doing. Her target is you. I'll go."

Si Shen was drinking tea in He Yanxun's office: "Give me the address, I'll bring people over now."
