Chapter 61: I Want to See You Suffer
The address Shen Zhiwei provided was for a factory belonging to the Shen Group that was not yet completed.
Si Shen's men arrived at the same time as them.
"President Xu, President Si sent us."
Xu Si'an hugged Qiao Xu and comforted her, "Don't be afraid, your senior brother's men are all professional bodyguards."
"You all stay downstairs and keep watch."
One of them stepped forward: "President Xu, President Si said that we should protect you."
Did he tell you to listen to me?
"Stop talking nonsense, either do as I say, or get out."
A voice came through the Bluetooth earphones that Xu Si'an had put on beforehand: "Brother, there's no one upstairs."
Xu Si'an stopped going upstairs and let Chang Yi look at the exterior wall.
Qiao Xu received a picture on her phone: "Ah!"
Qiao's mother was hung on the outer wall.

"Xu Si'an, no."
Xu Si'an bent down to pick it up, poured the medicine into his palm, put it in his mouth, and swallowed it.
He quickly reached out and grabbed the hand that was choking Qiao Xu's neck, pulling her into his arms.
The knife that had been pressed against Qiao Xu's lower back was now pressed against his neck.
Qiao Xu threw herself into his arms and hugged his waist: "Why do you eat everything like a little kid?"
He took off his suit jacket and draped it over her shoulders: "Honey, I'll handle it. You go home and stay with your mother. I'll be back soon."
"No, let's go back together."
Xu Si'an kissed his forehead: "Baby, there are some things I hesitated to do four years ago."

Qiao Xu broke free from the bodyguard and tried to follow, but then she heard Xu Si'an's painful groan.
Shen Zhiwei brandished the bloodstained knife in her hand: "If you keep going, I'll stab this knife through his heart."
Qiao Xu stopped in her tracks, her face deathly pale, terrified but too afraid to move forward.
As Xu Si'an was being dragged away, Qiao Xu called out to Shen Zhiwei, "Don't you like him? Why are you hurting him?"
"I can grant you any request, just let him go."
Shen Zhiwei turned around and sneered, "But I just want to see you suffer, Qiao Xu. If Xu Si'an dies today, it will be your fault."
"Wow! The ratings are out! They're all pretty low at first, but they'll go up in a bit. Little one, please leave a five-star rating!"
