Chapter 78 Longing
When Su Ruan regained consciousness, her bedside was surrounded by people.
There were Li's parents, his older brother Li Yuyang, and Song Feiwan and her parents.
Su Ruan tried to speak, but found that there were tubes in her face and an oxygen mask on her mouth.

Song Feiwan leaned closer to her and, upon hearing her question, spoke gently.
"You had hypothermia and were in critical condition for three days and three nights. Thankfully you're alright. You really scared us this time."

"You're back in China now, at the Li Family Hospital in Beijing."
"Where is Gu Jinyuan?" she asked anxiously.
If she returns to China, does that mean Gu Jinyuan is in trouble and can no longer control her whereabouts?

Su Ruan struggled to get up, but Song Feiwan quickly held her down.
"Gu Jinyuan's body hasn't been found yet; he's just missing. No news is good news. Your main priority now is to recover so you can wait for his return!"
Su Ruan's body went limp, and her parents and Li Yuyang comforted her.
Su Ruan closed her eyes, and two lines of clear tears rolled down her cheeks.
This was the second time Gu Jinyuan had saved her life. The last time, he was stabbed and almost died while saving her.

Yingyue touched her nose and left guiltily.
“Gu Jinyuan is alright, so why doesn’t he come to see me?” Su Ruan grabbed Song Feiwan’s arm as if she had grasped a lifeline.
"How should I put it? I'll take you to see him and let him say it himself."
Song Feiwan pulled the bewildered Su Ruan along, turning left and right until they arrived at a secluded room.
"Go ahead and have a good talk with him."
Su Ruan froze for three seconds, then pushed the door open with a bang.
They found Gu Jinyuan wearing a white lab coat, sitting in front of a computer, intently watching a video.
Hearing the sound, he turned around and saw Su Ruan suddenly appear. He panicked and tried to hide, but Su Ruan grabbed him by the collar.
Su Ruan was both angry and furious. She grabbed Gu Jinyuan and yelled, "Why are you avoiding me?"
"I...I...I thought you didn't want to see me..."
"You're talking nonsense!" Su Ruan was so angry that she spat on Gu Jinyuan's face.
"Since you're alive, why don't you come to see me?"
"I...I...I..." Gu Jinyuan stammered for a long time, not knowing how to explain.
"Gu Jinyuan, you're dead." Su Ruan was furious. She pressed him down on the resting bed next to her and bit him.
